That didnt take long.
Before the new members could even be sworn in, Senate Republicans revealed the parliamentary language that congressional Republicans will use to dismantle Mr. Obamas signature domestic achievement, the Affordable Care Act, without fear of a filibuster by Democrats in the coming months.

What is also left unsaid is that the insurance of those people who have pre-conditions is being mostly paid for by the taxpayer.
Thanks for the rebuttals to the lefties whining memes, on repealing 0Care.
I’m tired of their ‘20 million now insured’ and ‘preexisting’ BS.
What is also left unsaid is that the insurance of those people who have pre-conditions is being mostly paid for by the taxpayer.
Libs don’t have a problem with that...at all. Any that I’ve read about/been around, that is.
If he followed it up with...
“US Marshals, arrest all these people (indicating the Obams, Clintons, and any Obama and Clinton associates present) on charges of corruption and treason. Take them to Florence Supermax to await charges and trial.”
It would be even better. LOL
Great start, now get the replacement in place quickly!!
“...the insurance of those people who have pre-conditions is being mostly paid for by the taxpayer.”
That’s the problem with health care right there - insurance. Insurance hides the true cost of health care. People who have insurance don’t care about the cost of health care. If health care costs are paid out of the patient’s pocket, people will care a whole lot about health costs. Health care costs need to be prominently posted in every hospital, clinic and doctors’ office. That is the best free market solution to reduce health care costs.
that’s vague; good intentions fail
I don’t want any interference in my healthcare. I’m fine with it now, I don’t ‘need’ any changes.
Achievement? More like inflicted upon us.
Ummm... he's still weeks away from becoming President. Doesn't seem like it, though, does it? He is doing an awful lot of winning for a newcomer to the whole President-elect thingy, huh?
LMAO!!!!! Go, Prezzadizzle McSizzle!!!
Woooo-HOOOOOOOOO!!!
I had a hearty laugh when that mumbling dimwit, Nasty Pelosi, threatened republicans not to repeal because “If you break it you bought it.”
YES!
Probably better to focus on erasing every vestige of Obama’s legacy first. However,if the AG follows the evidence and makes that suggestion later, it’s not President Trump’s place to interfere with justice.
He gave his word. The Man will keep his word. It’s his brand.
right, she said there would be “political consequences” for Republicans if they do so. Has she not noticed the difference in her party’s standing from the time they passed that into law and now?
They didn’t actually go through with that...but the fact it was even discussed is a testament to how corrupt the Democrats were...and are.
Actually, if I remember right, they did go through with that. The bill was to go back and be reconciled as usual and it was not. Which means they did not send it back to committee and reconciliation.
AND one of my former SOB congressman had the guts to try and become somebody and failed. If you remember it was Stupak who tried to hold it up for passage in the house.
The bill is illegal IMO. To hell with the SCOTUS and Roberts, I dont care WTF they think.
OK I went back and checked. Because they were going to lose the senate..I.E. Scot Brown, the house passed the senate bill and set the house bill aside. Then, they reconiled it under the budget reconciliation later which was signed by Obastard in March of the following.
So..they knew they would not be able to pass a reconciled bill because Brown was taken over from Dead Kennedy. So they passed the Senate bill without reconciliation with the house bill which was passed. Then they claimed to have reconciled it under the budget reconciliation bill the following spring.
So...I figure since it was basically passed under budget reconciliation, they can repeal it the same way??
I dunno you tell me.
