right, she said there would be “political consequences” for Republicans if they do so. Has she not noticed the difference in her party’s standing from the time they passed that into law and now?

The proper response to this is that Nancy has the wrong analogy. The correct analogy is that we have arrived in the China shop after the Dems have been there for a while. They broke it, they haven't bought (owned up to it) it and we are merely coming in to pick up the pieces and put it back together....
