I understand the confusion, but this is pretty common communication for people who use their phones non-stop to communicate. They write like they text message. I would be willing to bet that their text messages were much worse than the emails we have seen. It is not much different than an email chain like this one, but people feel like they have more privacy via text messages.

I'm with you! Turning 60 in May of 2017 and I can't wait to retire from teaching. Wanna feel every single second of your age? Try teaching social studies (history, government, etc) today in the public schools.
