Bro, you ever been to NJ?
The north has mountains of blacks and liberals.
Not to be a downer but...the south part?
There’s nothing here.

There is a pattern here—in Iowa the latest poll showed Trump leading by ten—but the key takeaway was the large sample—about 600.
Here again we see a large sample (as a percentage of voters).
The national and large state polls have small samples compared to the totals—and along with about a 5% response rate—which gives the pollsters with an axe to grind easy pickings to add special sauce to “adjust” the results.
Large sample size compared to total voters—look for it—those will be much stronger indicators of how this is going to go.

And in North Jesey? Hoboken? Fort Lee? Alpine?

This is not news. I live in South Jersey and it always goes republican. However it is not enough to counter what the North Jersey liberals do. It is only news if north jersey goes for trump. Northern NJ and southern NJ are like two different states.

Why limit a poll to one section of a state?

If South Jersey was a state unto itself this would be a good thing. Unfortunately, the population is denser up north by NYC.

LOTS of “Trump can’t Win!!” articles from the Wash Post, NYTimes, and Huffpo today.

There definitely seems to be a tightening of the race. Florida is closing and Monmouth which usually puts out horrible polls for Trump found that he’d cut Hillary’s lead by more than half since their last poll in New Hampshire.

In Washington state, King county (Seattle) is where they always find the votes to win it for the commies.
Every election it takes weeks to count and recount.

Not surprised. I work in the Pinelands towns of South Jersey and I see hundreds of Trump signs but have only seen two Hillary signs out in the rural parts of Burlington, Ocean, Atlantic & Camden counties. Problem areas are the riverfront Philly suburb towns and AC.

I’ve read articles that Trump is running pretty well in upstate New York and downstate Illinois.

If the Philly suburbs flip and PA goes Red, in NJ race will be very close.
Usual GOPer has no chance. People like Trump because he’s from the Northeast and they’re used to hearing him.
As for NY, he’s running strong upstate and in collar counties down state.
To win, he needs to keep Hillary’s margin out of NYC down to around 60-65%.
Tough but doable.

Swell, it is of note that Romney and McCain lost the district, the last to win it was Bush in 2004 (who didn’t win the state) but I’m not sure why a single CD in NJ was polled, only ME and NE split votes by CD.
