Think I might just save this til my sister next visits...she can cook. I can’t. LOL!
Saved!! Thank you.
Had to close the window. That stiff north wind was blowing in and it was getting cold in here.
It was just a brief shower. Might get a few more before the system moves out tomorrow morning. Glad we got enough to wet the ground enough to keep the air from being so full of dirt. It’s been really tough for people with breathing problems around here the past few weeks and people who don’t normally have breathing problems have had them.
Not been fun.
The trick is that the sausage cooks inside the rolled up flank steak, and the sausage grease permeates the beef. This dish never fails to please.
You have a point. d:o)
That meal alone sounds like it made for a pretty darn good birthday. YUM!
It certainly isn’t fun to have breathing problems. We all suffer around here when the sandstorms come in the spring. Ruins that season for me every year!
Guess I’d better go. Early day tomorrow...but early getting off, too, so that’s good!
See ya tomorrow for some tuneage! Have a good day tomorrow...and I hope y’all get more rain!
AWESOME!! I’d heard about the pix but hadn’t seen them. They’ll go into Peaglet’s pic file. :-) He’s one handsome young eagle.
Hard to believe he’s so BIG, even though we know eagles are large birds. He just seemed small seeing him on the cam.
Poor baby! He was certainly freaked out about the fall. It really shows in that first pic. Look at those eyes.
And look at his face in the other pic. LOL! Good thing the rescuer knew how to handle him without getting ripped to shreds by that beak or those claws! Yeow!
I’m glad they were able to get to him before the fox showed up. I think we all would have been sick at heart if it had gotten there first.
It’s no fun at all. I have allergies and they give me enough trouble without all the dirt in the air added to it.
The gal I work with on Thursdays at the HQ has serious breathing problems and is taking antibiotics now due to a bronchial infection that cranked up. She wasn’t able to work last week but was there today.
IF we get more rain tonight, it won’t be much. But every little bit counts.
Ugh on the early morning but getting off work early makes up for it. Time for a nap! LOL! Good night and sleep well. See ya tomorrow night.
Howdy, Kathy.
Finally getting a little time to relax? Cool! Hope your mom’s hallucinations are through for the night so you can STAY kicked back.
I’m glad, too, that they were able to make the rescue before the fox showed up. Everyone in charge expedited his rescue to make sure he was safe. He has lots of fans and they would have been devastated!
He sure does have a lot of fans. And they’ve been twisted in knots since he fell. I’ve been keeping up with what’s going on via chat at the cam site and even knowing he’s ok, they’ve still been upset.
I feel bad for Dad and Lady. They said Lady was close by when they rescued him and in her little bird brain, she probably thinks he was hauled off to be eaten. She was so close to her baby.
Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
We made it to the weekend, and you are over the crud. Hurrah!!
Good evening/morning, Janey...((HUGS))...exciting weekend planned?
It’s trying to snow here...mid 20s by morning.
Good morning, Sandrat. How's it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How’s it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?
It’s raining right now and 35 degrees. In a couple hours the rain, if it keeps up, should turn to snow and the temps should hit 32 and keep dropping...possible mid 20s by morning.
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...good hunting yesterday? Storms?
Raining here and supposed to turn to snow by morning.
You and Bo have a great Friday.
