I am so sorry that you are going through this with your Mom.

My Mom had some of those hallucinations as well. She thought she had been kidnapped by terrorists. It mostly would occur when she had some kind of infection. (UTI, Respiratory, whatever)

However, one of them was actually the truth. She said: “THERE’S A DOG IN HERE!”

“That’s OK, Ma, it’s only Lynn-Dah.”

“Oh OK. SHE’S alright!”

Lynn-Dah and I are going up to Maine to hang out with my sister and meet the tribe. It’s way up there, no computers. I am bringing my guitar.

Doing laundry, next is taking out the trash, then the vacuuming the house, dusting is done, Found a chore for Sat afternoon, clean the Family Room Window (Charlie paw prints).

When I met Luke -- he was using the Roman name Lucanus -- we talked mostly science and medicine. It was Paul who wanted to talk philosophy and poetry, something I suspect he got little of in Jerusalem or Tarsus.

Lucanus was pretty sharp, up to date on the latest advances in Greek medicine, mathematics and geometry. I would have had to go to Alexandria to get that kind of conversation or education, assuming I could get into the library there in the first place.

Paul and Lucanus were a welcome addition to the household. I'll do almost anything to find intellectual stimulation on Malta.

I am always surprised when I find a post that I thought I made and find out I didn't hit Post. LOL!
