Happy Birthday!
Now in the neighborhood of that place were lands belonging to the chief man of the island, named Publius, who received us and entertained us hospitably for three days. (Acts 28:7)
And OUR Publius does that with Music, Every Weekend! On Our Own little island called "Free Republic"!:-)

Good evening all. Hope you’re having a good evening. Late fall has finally arrived in central Indiana. Cold rain all day after two weeks of beautiful weather.

They are funny little guys, huh!
It was pretty awesome on my last “day off”! I cleaned yesterday so I wouldn’t have to today. I can do that when I get bored. About mid-week next week. LOL!
Hope your day went well! Was this a HQ day? I missed ya last night. I was soooo busy with the circus called a debate and the thread that followed it. And good ol’ HilLIARy...gave away secrets right there on stage and no one blinked an eye! GRR!

Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...ready for a pub night?
I’m battling Mom and hallucinations this evening.
“Come see this.” No, no helicopters...
“Look at all the “moving” signs on the lawns.” No signs at all...
“Look at the Day Care sign on the truck door.” No sign...
These 3 tonight are recurring. No matter how many times we go over this, we must go again.

Same here, Luv. This is the latest I can recall the leaves still green. I’ll bet the change this weekend and are down next week.

Been hot here, too, and our leaves are just starting to turn. Mostly brown since it’s been so dry but there are hints of red or yellow within the brown.
Cold front’s moving through now and with it is RAIN!!!!! The kitchen window’s open so I can hear the sound of it falling ..... a sound we haven’t heard in a long time.

I always wondered where the phrase “under the weather” came from. When I was in law school many years ago I was working as a law clerk near where all the local TV stations were located. I went to the nearby drugstore to get a soda and found myself standing in the checkout line behind Bob Gregory, a popular long time Indy TV weatherman. He had a bottle of Kaopectate in his hand. I kind of leaned over to him and asked: “Hey Bob...a little “under the weather?”
He didn’t think it was funny.
Get well soon, Pro....
