It was Donald J. Trump’s chance to sound contrite and mature, to explain away the sexually predatory boasts he was caught making on tape and to persuade Americans that — for all his no-apologies braggadocio — he was, in fact, capable of feeling shame.
Maura Cotter, 22, a senior at the University of Notre Dame, was shocked at what Mr. Trump did instead in Sunday’s debate: repeat, over and over, that what he had said on the 2005 recording, about forcing himself on women and grabbing their genitals, was simply “locker-room banter.”
It was, Ms. Cotter said, “not an apology — no reason to believe he’s changed at all.”
A classmate, Abigail Wilson, who is a registered Republican, listened closely to Mr. Trump and was reminded, she said, of the time she was groped by a stranger. The Republican nominee, she said soberly, “may not have physically harmed anyone with his words, but he has the power to do so by example.”

Who said anything about conservative women? I said women, and really meant those women who are the so-called undecideds, the ones that tape was meant to horrify and send to their fainting couches. Suburban college educated white women in places like Philadelphia. Exactly the sort of women that have very likely gone to such parties (I live outside Philly and it’s extremely common).
I don’t blame you. Just being caged in that for hours could case serious harm and even death.
Women have spent years now being worked like men (with just as little to show for it), and they have to decide under which candidate they have a better chance of improving their lots in life. Trump offers some hope; Hillary offers four more years of Obamunism (which basically has American women toiling to feed, clothe, house, and school foreign children here in our country).
How can liberals, Hollywood types and millennial types who no doubt watch shows like the “critically acclaimed” Orange is the New Black, filled with explicit lesbian prison sex, suddenly act all prim and proper about Trump’s little attempt at blue humor?
These are the same people who have made feminist role models and heroes out of the extraordinarily rude and crude female comedians Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman and Chelsea Handler, who constantly joke about body parts and bodily functions, do scenes with sex and nudity, and use profanity that would make a sailor blush.
I haven’t seen any Trump signs in the Philly burbs where I live. Not seeing too many signs at all, but spotted some Clinton ones this weekend. Visiting home this weekend, as soon as I cross the line into northeastern PA, it became wall-to-wall Trump signs. These are the areas where hispanic immigrants have surged to about half the population up from zero since 2000.

You can count on the New York Times never, never to allow any objectivity to inhibit their spinning of wishful narratives. That is why I made them the principal antagonist—the villain—in a novel published in 1998. They have been up to deliberate deception for many decades. One can only speculate how any “news” organization in America can hate America so much; because the need to be so continually unfair to the one candidate who openly supports the American tradition, obviously transcends just a simple preference for another candidate.
Of course Trump’s apology sounded sincere. The propaganda spinners at the Times, notwithstanding, only a hand-wringing neurotic beats his mea culpas to death. Trump has a people to serve; real issues to address.
