Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman did not take questions from reporters on Wednesday during his media session, instead reading a statement that said the message of NFL players’ protests during the national anthem has been lost.

I am not ignoring the message. There is absolutely nothing I can do to stop black males from resisting arrest.

I have, however, had it with these idiots trying to draw attention to themselves by their prissy posturing as if they have somehow attained a level of moral superiority that the rest of us dare not even lift our eyes to behold their greatness.

President Trump said something along the lines of “I hope they find a country that suits them.”

I hope they do, as well; and soon.

Find you own venue and protest to your hearts content. BLM did and does.

Using the NFL as a backdrop reeks of opportunism, same as at a rock concert... It’s not what you’re there for, nor is what the audience is there for either.

Now, as for the shills of the MSM, they’re drooling for THE scoop... always the scoop and they will turn anybody providing that scoop into their own personal whore. Is that what you really want Ricki, to be turned into a media whore? Don’t you get it?

And when I tune out the NFL and not buy their trash I’m sending my own message that this social disorder will stop with or without the NFL.

Obviously Mr. Sherman, if people aren’t paying attention, a new protest tactic is needed. Might I suggest that you and your fellow protesters go into the stands and grab those racist white people by their throats, shake them and scream in their faces. I’m pretty sure *that* would get their attention.

When you start your conversation with an overt act of disrespect, no need fo surprise when no one gives a flip what you have to say.

I think if Sherman did this out of uniform, he wouldn't be suddenly be so disliked.

At least give others credit for having some intelligence, Richard.

Most will consider your message and decide if it's valid.

If you insist upon repeating what others have judged to be incorrect, THEN you will be ignored.

And, BTW...do those "kids" face a greater danger from being shot by a cop, or other "kids?"

Haven’t watched an NFL game this year. Last night, I opted to watch the Astros lose a baseball game rather than watch the Texans lose an NFL game. I saw on the news this morning that the Texans have had their first fist-raising player during last night’s national anthem. Too bad I missed it...

And black players are ignoring black on black violence, fatherless households, disruptive behavior in the classrooms, etc., etc....

Hey, Richard:

I'll let the guy who collects my garbage do surgery on my brain before I ever turn to an NFL player for any kind of message about social/political/economic matters.

... or how about just stop watching altogether. (I know that’s nearly impossible for a sports/football addict. So, yeah, cutting back is good.) But consider playing sports yourself, watching a kids game, going for a walk, spending time with the family, calling your mother (if she’s not glued to the game!), reading a book, playing board games, making something (woodworking, sewing, .... ), working around the house or yard, ....

There are so many options that could be far more rewarding.

The message is lost? There is no message. I listened to Kaepernick’s several “messages,” and even went back to read the transcripts. His messages were simply moronic,

These misguided dopes are being used as pawns for the commie left.

The progressive leftists/socialists realize sports can be a very effective way to indoctrinate the masses, particularly the youth. There is collusion at various levels of management. Witness SF 49ers coach supporting Kapernick yesterday. ESPN is another propoganda outlet.

They would love nothing more than most athletes become social justice warriors and use sports as a vehicle.

If they could just rid the games of patriotic themes and players, they would go far.

the message of NFL players’ protests during the national anthem has been lost.
********************************

Then stop doing it.
The message being received is that you hate the country that pays you millions to play a game.
