16-year-old Hillside High School student Jalen Thompson Johnson was shot and killed early yesterday as he donned a mask, claimed to be a police officer, and tried to kick in the door of a Durham, NC apartment.
Unfortunately for Johnston, the homeowner was not only also armed, he was a better shot.
A teen was shot to death while trying to force his way into an apartment in Durham Monday morning, police said. The resident of the apartment was injured in the shooting.

He’s dead Bill ...
60%? I think it’s closer to 70%.
The teenager left dead after the gunfire, Jalen Johnson, was a student at Hillside High School in Durham. The schools principal, Dr. William Logan, said Johnson was a great kid and called his death a loss to our school.
And we wonder why our society is crumbling? With educators like that who needs schools.
Turds matter.
sorry
I should have put a sarcasm tag on that post...seemed obvious to me.
Bet it's a "been there, done that" testimonial.

Exactly.
Lazy worm. Now you're dead. Good going.
And volunteered for Meals on Wheels Mondays and Wednesdays and helped in the cancer research lab on alternating Thursdays, unless he was too busy rescuing kittens from trees and kissing away skinned knees for the neighborhood kids.
"He were a'ways ready wif a hug an' a Coke," said Dee Luded, a neighbor who dealt two varieties of "crack" at the bus station nearby. "An' if'n you needed he'p, he'd be glad to buss a cap in some foo's ass fo' ya."
He was an absolutely wonderful child... and gun-carrying gangsta... and...
HE’S A GOOD BOY
He was a good boy, loved his mama,
Loved Jesus and his Homies too.
He was a great kid, crazy ‘bout Beyonce’,
Loved Skittles and Purple Drank too.
It’s a long day living in Durham,
And it’s fun scaring people like The Man.
And the good boy liked to rob neighbors,
Liked kittens and his Glock 9 too.
Now the Amberlance rolls through the darkness,
Racing fast down the long boulevard.
And the other good boys lurk in the shadows,
The high school teachers all have broken hearts.
The good boy - he glides through the city,
On his last ride - but he’ll never know.
And his mama cries “He’s such a good boy”,
Now the good boy won’t rob anymore.
Talk host Howie Carr has played same clip for years: (a mom) “He’s a good boy.A VERY good boy.”
LOL!
Well done!
