HE’S A GOOD BOY
He was a good boy, loved his mama,
Loved Jesus and his Homies too.
He was a great kid, crazy ‘bout Beyonce’,
Loved Skittles and Purple Drank too.
It’s a long day living in Durham,
And it’s fun scaring people like The Man.
And the good boy liked to rob neighbors,
Liked kittens and his Glock 9 too.
Now the Amberlance rolls through the darkness,
Racing fast down the long boulevard.
And the other good boys lurk in the shadows,
The high school teachers all have broken hearts.
The good boy - he glides through the city,
On his last ride - but he’ll never know.
And his mama cries “He’s such a good boy”,
Now the good boy won’t rob anymore.
