Republican nominee Donald J. Trump holds a 4-point lead over Democratic nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton in the critical state of Virginia and just outside the margin of error, a new RABA Research poll shows.
Among the poll of 655 likely voters in Virginia, Trump holds a 46%-42% lead over Clinton, despite her pick of Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine as her vice presidential running mate.
Voters are split on Kaine, with 40% of respondents saying they are more likely to vote for Clinton based on the pick, versus 34% who are less likely to support her and 26% stating it makes no difference.

We have a long time to go before Nov.
Mark Warner is his name and he is better than Kaine but not by much.
The national polls don’t show her with a big lead and some have them virtually tied.
And she is still tied since her speech didn’t knock it out of the ballpark.
Not a formula for victory.
TTTT!
Yup, El Norte VA is DC central ...
NOVA which is reliably Blue.
But if Hillary is struggling there, there’s something more to the stories we’re being told she has two point lead.
“How can Trump have a lead in a major battleground state, when the latest national poll has Hillary far ahead???”
That was Reuters and Clinton was up by double digits in it about a week or so ago. That same poll showed Trump close the lead dramatically but now he leads by 2 in the last one. So now they change their methodology and sample 70% instead of 60% Democrat. They have no credibility anymore.
And in other news national polls are openly rigged. We’re going to win this one folks.
It’s a good poll.
They over sampled Democrats by 2%.
You know, I look at it this way. I’m not perfect, but I think I’m pretty much a realistic, clear thinking conservative.
I’m probably pretty much in the middle. In other words, I don’t think I’m a loon when it comes to politics and deciding what is right and what is wrong.
I line myself up almost 100% with people like Lou Dobbs and Judge Janeene, most of the time with Hannity. Ok?
On this site, it seems like there are a majority of people like me here, whom I believe represent MOST VOTING AMERICANS.
Therefore, I don’t find these polls odd, and in fact, if the poll says Trump is 4 points up, it’s probably more like 8. The people of Virginia are not entirely brain dead.
Any reasonable person out there, can see that Hillary is evil. She’s a liar. She is phony. She is, like Obama, the product of a bunch of slick handlers. ONLY WITH HER, she has numbskulls running her campaign.
EVery Ad, every campaign song, every slogan is off target.
She will be like, a team three touchdowns down in the first quarter of the Super Bowl, playing against the Ditka’s Bears. EVery play will be a long pass.
In other words, the more we get to know HIllary the more we hate her. So what is she going to do? She can’t be aggressive, even with a fixed deck.
The debates will be a disaster for her. A disaster.
The only way she wins is if Trump dies.
LOL, I think we can ignore that poll.
I’m in PA (and often travel into NJ and NY). I have met people who used to think Hillary was the pinnacle of American womanhood. They are now for Trump. I know middle-aged liberal women, black and Hispanic and Jewish women, who are solidly for Trump.
This is going to get ugly. Clinton is desperate and will do anything to derail him. It’s the only thing she CAN do.
Make her fight him in all the battleground states. Make her fight in NY. Make her spend that Soros and hedge fund cash in every state.
Where are you seeing that? Nimsee 217-191 with 130 as toss ups.
* I see
Kaine is a total phony. People in his own state don’t like him.
Kaine is weird. He reminds me of Harvey Korman on Carol Burnett Show in one of his wimpy skits.
If her numbers keep falling....she might shove him out the rear door......concluding he adds nothing but failure to her chances.
Anything inside 5% can flip with vote fraud in a few key precincts.
Yep! Thanks for the correction. John would have been a better choice too. Lol
