Republican nominee Donald J. Trump holds a 4-point lead over Democratic nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton in the critical state of Virginia and just outside the margin of error, a new RABA Research poll shows.
Among the poll of 655 likely voters in Virginia, Trump holds a 46%-42% lead over Clinton, despite her pick of Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine as her vice presidential running mate.
Voters are split on Kaine, with 40% of respondents saying they are more likely to vote for Clinton based on the pick, versus 34% who are less likely to support her and 26% stating it makes no difference.

How reliable is this poll? Because didnt this same poll say that Clinton is ahead by 15 nationally which is total BS..both cant be accurate..I dont think Kaine helped Clinton at all but Northern Virginia is a Dem cess pool

How can Trump have a lead in a major battleground state, when the latest national poll has Hillary far ahead???
Or was that the poll, by Reuters, I belive? in which they changed the methodology of the poll so they could show Hillary in the lead????
No way Hillary can have a lead nationwide, but be falling this far behind in a key battleground state such as Virginia.
Granted that polls are a small sample, and are a snapshot of a point in time. But polls should not be fundamentally at odds with each other. If the national poll showing Hillary ahead is accurate, then Hillary should also be ahead in the state of Virginia.
That great Virginian, Thomas Jefferson, in his Letter to Peter Carr, left great advice for someone like Hillary:

good question...just this morning I was reading here how RABA was nothing but a bunch of kooks, owing to the poll you just referenced...
so, this poll must be meaningless as well, right...?
Im happy that he is leading in this poll just hope its reliable..heck I think the ONLY reliable poll is on Election Day..but with all the voter fraud that will take place who knows how reliable that will even be
A better pick would have been Virginia’s other senator, John Warner. He is much better liked and respected here in Virginia than Tim Kaine. Cant see how he will help her.
Kane and Hillary should start speaking Hindi, Telugu, Tamil in Virginia. Spanish is not very helpful.
I am very happy with the results of this poll, but RABA Research stretches all credulity with their results of the national poll which has Shrillary leading by 15% and Trump losing Independents and men,
