Trump gave him a rope to either LASSO the party in endorsing or hang himself.
He chose to hang himself. Trump knew exactly what he was doing.

Not only am I faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more of a CONSERVATIVE, CONSTITUTIONALIST and Christain, than Cruz is, unlike him....MY WORD/OATH IS MY BOND! Cruz is a damned FRAUD and is going to HELL!
I participated in so many DC freeps so long ago (up to 17 years ago!) that it's hard to keep the who and what details in mind.
I have photos of myself with many, many TV celebtities and political big shots snapped in assorted banquet rooms, the Washington Monument grounds, DC parks, etc.
With all that's going on these days, sometimes I have to sing "Happy Birthday" to myself just to remember my own name, LOL.

Yes, he did. Cruz fully expected Trump to deny him giving the speech and had plans for handling the denial.
My guess is HwithAnArrow took note with a degree of uneasiness the way Trump dispatched Cruz.

I hate what Cruz did. I wish he would have done what Reagan did in 1976.
But, at the START of Ted’s speech, people on FR were condemning him when he was saying things that we ALL agree with. That’s what I was reacting to.
Now, to be fair... I’ve learned since that there were multiple media reports leaked ahead of Ted’s speech saying he would NOT endorse. Maybe, people on here were aware of that... And I wasn’t. I definitely would have had a different reaction hearing it, if I’d known where it was going.
Laura was the first national host other than Pat Robertson to have me on after “Patriots History” came ourpt in 2004. I got to finally meet her about 3 years ago at an Eagle Forum event. Yes, good speech.

She's her own woman, has an interesting and productive life, and she remains humble in her success (all the while having a good set of GUTS!)

I have to admit it was really fascinating to watch someone destroy their political career because of a childish temper tantrum. Cruz is as narcissistic as Barky.
IIRC, it was Ann Coulter, who was engaged to Dinesh. Were both of them once engaged to him ?
