There are consequences to primaries. Trump won . They lost. I personally don’t care what they do but they better.

Trump needs to stand strong on the no endorsement, no speaking slot pledge, even if it means purging them from the party.
To: ameribbean expat
they must have thought they could throw their hissy fits as sore losers.

I don’t quite get the context, does he mean speak to commemorate a presumptive victory?
Anybody the convention wants to speak before that, certainly can.

Well, what IS the history on this. When did they renege on this promise? There has been so much weirdness in the wake of the Donald.

Kasich will probably just not go then. He has little to lose. There is no great wellspring of enthusiasm for John, never has been, except from the left. Ted Cruz, has plan for the future, and after some fake coyness, some public hemming and hawing, Ted is likely to decide that yes, he will endorse.
I doubt if Carly goes. Her stock price dropped straight down through that strategically placed trapdoor. If Trump wins, I can see using Carly then in some capacity. All kidding aside, she has lots of inner strength and confidence.

Don’t know what either one is doing with regards to endorsing Trump. I have felt
that Cruz may be holding back in an effort to have some input into the Platform. Once
completed he’d endorse. Also the Rules Committee meets the week before the Convention
to develope proposed rules for adoption at the Convention.

As he kept losing in the primary, Cruz said over and over w/ all the
conviction he could muster....”Trump is not going to be the candidate.”
How's he gonna get around that stupidity.....by looking even more stupid?
