Obama to visit Carlsbad Caverns next week (NM)

President Obama will visit Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico and Yosemite National Park in California next week as part of a trip celebrating the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, according to the White House.

The trip is scheduled from June 17-19 – next Friday, Saturday and Sunday – but it’s unclear exactly when the president will be in New Mexico. Details are still emerging.

Now doubt to campaign for Hillary and raise some funds while he is here. It will be interesting if our conservative US representative Steve Pearce greets him. I would expect not if Obama showcases his Democratic opponent.

Carlsbad Caverns are like a cool, dark oasis in the middle of a rocky, barren desert landscape. They’re huge, the main cavern where the gift shop and concessions were located seemed larger than a football stadium. I enjoyed visiting them. The bats I could do without, but I wasn’t there in the evening, it was midday so no worries.

They’ve been having trouble with the elevators....

They had been out of service for over a year forcing visitors, especially older, elderly and handicapped to forgo a visit unless they hike down approximately 750 feet on a 1.25 mile path and then back up again. It really hurt the visitor count, especially since the area has been hard hit by the loss of jobs due to the decline in oil prices. They were said to be fixed at the end of May, but who knows - Obama may have to hike in and out. I'm sure he's fit what with all the time spent on the golf course.

..... I Guarantee you that Obama is not just going to Carlsbad on a vacation to celebrate it's 100th anniversary. He is going there to campaign for The Pantsuit and Slam Trump for his statement about his plan to sell off national assets to pay off the debt.

.... Liberals insist he talking about selling off the national parks.

.... Luckily Mr. Trump will be ready for this!!! ..... Ummmm ... he will be ready for this right? He better have his talking points ready to fire off or he may be taken down another notch or two.
