The author of a book about Hillary Clinton and Vince Foster, the aide whose death in 1993 was ruled a suicide, says Clinton triggered Fosters death by bullying him unmercifully, calling him out from among his colleagues as a failure.
The claim comes from Ronald Kessler, formerly an investigative reporter with the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post, and the author of The First Family Detail: Secret Service Agents Reveal the Hidden Lives of the Presidents and The Secrets of the FBI.
Kessler wrote about his claim in the London Daily Mail on Thursday.
The controversies surrounding Fosters death have re-surfaced more than two decades later with Hillary Clintons Republican presidential rival Donald Trump calling Fosters death fishy and saying the issue should be taken very seriously.
*snip*
Kessler says Fosters behavior changed dramatically.
On July 20, Foster left the White House parking lot at 1:10 p.m, Kessler wrote. The precise time when he shot himself could not be pinpointed. After Park Police found his body, they notified the U.S. Secret Service at 8.30 p.m.
He continued: No one can explain a suicide in rational terms. But the FBI investigation concluded that it was Hillarys vilification of Foster in front of other White House aides, coming on top of his depression, that triggered his suicide about a week later, Copeland and Clemente both say.

"He'll use you and abuse you . . . he's got Billy Clinton eyes." Blast from the past.
Kim Carnes.
..............and I heard the talking heads on CNN this morning talking about what an authoritarian Trump would be if he were to win the election..................................
This was actually a Rush spin-off from the Carnes song back in Slick’s first term. Can’t find it anyway on the internet but I think I have it on an old cassette.

I think he shot himself in the White House and the body was dumped in the park
Well, please stick around as long as possible.
Translation:
"I was flowing heavy and he was being a ba$tard, so I shot him."
Bullying - a despicable hate crime unless a Clinton does it.....
She could have just “nagged” him to death.
Thanks for the doing the research and posting those quotes.
While it may only seem like they speak to Hillary’s unpleasantness as a person, to put it very mildly, I wonder if she is that way with security people because they aren’t part of the Clinton’s “loyal” hand-picked staff, yet they intrude on her world of secrets, and so she resents and distrusts them, and wants to bully them into silence and keep them as distant as possible.
A book by a liberal author directly accuses her.
HRC may have bullied Vince unmercifully, but this theory is just a smokescreen to cover up for what really happened. Foster did NOT commit suicide. He was murdered! And you accept that basic fact, you have to conclude that Hillary Rodham Clinton, because of her extremely unusual relationship with the deceased and her strange activities in the weeks surrounding the death, is a very hot suspect in this homicide case!
Here's one tipoff: When informed of Foster's death by phone, HRC immediately set in motion a calculated plan to remove files from Foster's White House office to her White House residence and thence to Clinton attorneys. This hardly computes to what would be expected of one hearing the news of an unexpected and tragic death of a close friend!
There's been a lot of discussion of the removal of the files. Though this might have criminal implications, it serves as a distraction from the crux of the matter, which is that a homicide went down on July 20, 1993!
Oh, sure. She bullied him until he shot himself in the back of the head and then flew into the park so as to avoid getting his shoes dirty.
More like “claw your eyes out”.
I believe she was in Little Rock when she took the call. She made an "unscheduled" stop there on her way back to DC from Los Angeles.
ML/NJ
Actually, she had stopped in Los Angeles on her way back from a trip to the Orient and Hawaii that had lasted a few weeks. Of course, we don't believe that the stop at her mother's home in Little Rock was "unscheduled." I seem to recall that the purported reason for that visit to her mother's house was to advise her mother on financial matters following her father's death. (Can't recall offhand the date of Mr. Rodham's death, but it had to be prior to the beginning of her trip to the Orient.) Turned out that the mother's home was good operating base for HRC in terms of implementing her remove-the-files strategy from 1500 miles away. She didn't return to the White House physically until about five days later.
