Hillary Clinton spent yesterday doing damage control after the release of the Inspector General report on her use of a secret e-mail server exposed her continuous stream of lies over the last 15 months on the topic. As part of that effort, Hillary called into Meet the Press Daily, where Chuck Todd took a skeptical view of the spin coming from Team Hillary, as Leah Barkoukis notes at Townhall.
Todd zeroed in on one statement from the IG report in which Hillary refused to use an official State Department e-mail. Until yesterday, Hillary claimed she wanted one system for convenience, but an e-mail published by the IG shows she refused on much different grounds. Lets get separate address or device but I dont want any risk of the personal being accessible, Hillary e-mailed in response to Huma Abedins advice to either use a State account or release your e-mail to the department so youre not going to spam.
Well, which was it, Todd asks convenience or opacity? And of what was Hillary afraid?

Mika, Andrea, Chuck, WP. The MSM list is getting longer. Could this be the end of Hillary?
Au contraire mon amie.....We The People have a duty to demand our government (congressmen & senators), law enforcement....enforce the law equally for everyone....no one is above the law...certainly not Hillary and Bill or any politician.
It would take millions of angry Americans descending on DC to get this administration to even notice we have a grievance with Mrs Clinton skirting the law.
Even then, the eunuchs in Congress would cower under their desks, while the apparatchiks in the federal agencies would all be ‘unreachable’. Obama would find some excuse to out of town until the millions gave up and went home.
We’ll have to wait until Trump is in office to have a responsive government in place.
In the meantime, Obama holds the Clintons’ fate in his hands, and his alone. Now, his hand could possibly be forced by developing events, in which case, he may do nothing to stop the wheels of justice from grinding Hillary into hamburger.
He will only save her if his own neck is on the line.
Or..."She's innocent until proven guilty."
It might end the circus tour. But only God will end the Clintons.
I disagree. I think it is very unlikely that the FBI won't recommend that HRC be indicted. If HRC were ahead in the polls, and the FBI recommended HRC be indicted, then the DOJ would decline and this would fade away. However, with Trump doing so well, the Dems are nervous. If the FBI recommends HRC be indicted, I don't think the DOJ is going to refuse to indict; I think they'll indict so the Dems can pressure HRC to get out of the race and they'll supplant her with Biden/Warren. What could be interesting is that I don't think HRC will go away even if she is indicted!
Yep, it’s hard to imagine that Hillary would just go away, if an indictment comes down.
Hillary has devoted her entire adult life to the notion that she is destined to be president someday; the first woman president. I can’t imagine she would quietly step aside based on an indictment or leading Democrats telling her it’s all over for her.
“Enter Biden and/or Warren.”
Biden doesn’t have a shot. If he did, he’d be in it already regardless of Clinton. Granted, they might have kept him out of the limelight and in the bullpen waiting to see how the whole Clinton thing plays out (they’ve known for a while she is a terrible candidate) ... still, he’s not that good of a POTUS candidate ... not against Trump anyway.
Warren is good on paper for the left. Wait until she starts to open her mouth. People will dislike her for the same reasons they dislike Clinton. The press will do what they usually do and overhype someone. In rare cases, like Obama, it will work. Nothing will work for her though and the overhyping will work against her. She’ll be spewing the same tired rhetoric Clinton spews.
They’re both late 60s hippie trash more concerned about their own power and wampum ... they use “the common man” for both.
The Democrats have screwed themselves fairly well this time around. They have nobody in their minor leagues capable of stepping out into the spotlight for a POTUS run. I’m not saying that the party is dead ... however, we might see a replay of the 1980s starting next year only with the Republican Party in control of congress this time :-).
“He will only save her if his own neck is on the line.”
If she has the goods on him, and she gets indicted, Obama is going to be in for one long summer. She will certainly go nuclear. Trump might be able to walk into the White House unopposed if that happens :-).
IMHO, don't think so, for a variety of reasons. Even the Foster case is coming back for scrutiny. I personally don't think that Hillary's trustability can be resurrected at this point. She would have to change entirely as a person, and do a mea culpa. Plus, there will be leaks, as someone else suggested.
I noticed that too. Her secrets are more important to her than state secrets. What are her secrets? Cocaine addiction? Lesbianism? Charity as front for the Clinton crime family? Worse than those?
OMG!
Someone might have wanted to steal Chelsea’s wedding cake recipe.
:)
Good point... Of course Chuck was respectful... his voice wasn't filled with the contempt he has when speaking with Trump.
Bingo! Money laundering and influence peddling while holding a cabinet position requires secrecy.
” It is those personal/private emails that are more damaging TO HER”
Hillary choose what was private and what wasn’t. Pay to play email were personal, Ambassador Stevens email was personal and so on and so on.
That has been my thought
some might call it triangulation.
When we get a third opinion and associated evidence, the indictment can’t be refused by DOJ
the third can be either the Old Gray Whore or the Compost with a 1-20,000 word series
Schmuck Toad knows the RATs are in trouble and is literally throwing Hillary under the bus so that Slow Joe can enter stage right and ascend to the RAT thrown.
