A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) investigation into the U.S. Secret Services disclosure of the personnel files of Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) has resulted in discipline for 41 agents.
The leaker has also resigned, according to a statement by DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson.
The conduct of 57 Secret Service personnel was reviewed, including 11 in the Senior Executive Service level, the highest levels of government. Of those, 41 are receiving some level of discipline....

I can imagine the outrage from the left if this were Nancy Piglosi.
“Followed by a promotion and bonus.”
I’m in the wrong business.
The politicians created this 4th branch of government, the bureaucracy and now they can’t control it and it turns on them when necessary. They are accountable to no one because of the government unions and they know it. If a politician gets uppity and demands accountability leaks and problems suddenly crop up for said politician until they pipe down and let the bureaucrats have their way.
Until the government unions are broken and the bureaucracy reined in the slide into the hell that is communism is inevitable.
Affirmative Action. Maybe you were thinking of the OTHER AA. Drunk Dudes? Seriously, SS used to be crack outfit. Since Bill Clinton, my sources tell me it went to hell in a handbasket. Those sources are retired SS Agents.
Remember GW having to go back and rescue one of his Security Detail? Never should have happened.
Yes the first thing they teach you in govt 105 is that the bureaucracy is a self feeding mechanism. It grows organically. It has now become to large to govern and is naturally corrupt to the core. There is only one cure. It has to be pruned back to bare root or close to it. Politicians have no will for that kind of activity. It will likely take CWII or the grid going down.
How many are women?
Have Glenn Beck and Brad Thor chimed in on this yet?
Crickets....?
Why oh why don’t any of these out of control gov’t losers ever get fired? Losers managed by bigger losers. This is some administration.
Amazing.
When I was a kid I wanted to be a Secret Service Agent and go around on train protecting the president (ala Robert Contrad)
My how far we have fallen.
Not top govt agency leader is ever punished for malfeasance or poor leadership, only the underlings.
Wondering when one underling is going to spill the beans to Congress since they can’t trust their own leadership and IGs are iffy (though they are getting a lot better).
The way the presidency has become America elects a 4 year dictator...
Personnel management problems are always traceable directly to the top.
It like a corporate culture. Even in big givernment.
AA??
Affirmative Action...
/specifically granting special consideration to racial minorities, Native Americans, and women/

Barry was our FIRST AA POTUS.
Proof positive of the seriesness of the charge....
All this amounts to is a peak behind the curtain. The government wants ALL of the congress folks to know they are being watched and they know ALL of the dirt. So, even those who think their dirt is well hidden will become unsure. This is a “do what you’re told” threat.
one of the most appalling aspects of this affair is that it was not just one or two “rogue” agents, there are 41 agents involved!!
That is absolutely appalling for what it represents about the character of a lot of ppl in the USSS.
They should all be fired.
“In Oct. 2015, the Inspector General of Homeland Security found that agents dug into the confidential personnel files of Chaffetz, who was leading an investigation into a string of security lapses and scandals at the Secret Service.
The Congressman, who is is chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, had applied for a job with the Secret Service years before he was elected to the House and agents were looking for something that might embarrass him, according to the IG report.”
They should release of names of the employee that resigned and the names of each employee on the Executive Level that was involved as a taste of their own medicine.
The modern day Praetorian Guard is just another 5th column.
Damn them all...
Fly; my pretties!
