Donald Trump has fired his first shots of the general election campaign. Predictably, they have nothing to do with anything that matters. In a new video released on Instagram, Trump features audio interviews with women who’ve accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault. Against the backdrop of shadowy audio clips, the accompanying text asks if Hillary Clinton is “really protecting women.”
We hear the voices of Monica Lewinsky, Kathleen Wiley, and a clip from a 1999 Dateline interview with Juanita Broaddrick. Near the end, as the sound of Hillary Clinton’s cackle fades, the words “Here we go again” flash on the screen.
I’m no great defender of Bill Clinton. He was a competent president and did a lot of things well, but he’s also received a pass from Democrats on a number of fronts. The triangulating, the serial lying, the capitulations to white Southerners – it was all transparent and nauseating. But here’s the thing: Bill Clinton isn’t running for president, and what he did with his penis 30 years ago is irrelevant.

These people dont get it, its not per se what Bill did, its what HILLARY did AGAINST these women to defend Bill. So this is all about Hillary.

Too bad Salon. Hillary’s dead and dull campaigning has her to attempting to use Bill to add life to her party. If you take that away from her, what will she have to use against Bernie? She can’t have her cake and eat it too. If she’s going to try to use Bill to gain energy, she’s going to get all the baggage he carries and all the bad things she did to enable him.

Don't forget that she ordered the records of the Health Care Task Force to be shredded, in violation of a court order that they be disclosed to the public. She was fined ($400k, IIRC) for contempt for that, and then she stuck the taxpayers with the bill.

Trump almost sounds like FR at times. Anyone here think if someone comes up with a good turn of phrase or idea he wouldn’t use it? Now compare what McLame or Mittens thought of us. We were the crazies to them and their campaigns probably dismissed us out of hand. What a waste of a precious resource this website represents.

Since when? Hillary is basing her entire campaign on her gender. It seems to me that her history of enabling a sexual predator and harassing his victims ought to be part of the story.
This is sort of like denouncing the Swift Boat Veterans who told the truth about John Kerry after he decided to make his military service the centerpiece of his campaign, isn't it?
