Trump Now Leading In National Poll Averages

Despite claims by the media that Trump would likely lose the election against Hillary (while absurdly claiming that John Kasich performed the best in a head on fight with Clinton), the RCP average of national polls now gives Trump a slight edge. The Hill reports:
Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump has overtaken Democratic front-runnerHillary Clinton in an average of head-to-head national polls, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls.
Trump leads Clinton by 0.2 percentage points, 43.4 percent to 43.2 percent in the average, overtaking the Democratic front-runner for the first time in the average of polls.

Also of interest is the over or under sampling of voter groups in national polls that have given Hillary a lead. The latest New York Times poll samples Democrats at 8% over Republicans. Gallup in 2015, on the other hand, gave the Democrats only a 3% edge over their rivals. The New York Times also under samples Independents, giving them only a representation of 34%. Organizations like Gallup are reporting record high numbers of Independents within the 40% range. Donald Trump, of course, is dominating with independents on a national level.
If nothing else the “group-think” will need some revision and all of the snarky and arrogant lib pundits will have to start eating a little humble pie.

That’s the thing about a train wreck. Once it starts you can’t really stop it. You can be scared, livid and outraged but the train has too much momentum to stop.

Hillary has a problem with whites and men. She needs a more diverse base.
Look at the first line above. The media and corrupt lawyer politicians in the D.C. private club has been predicting Trump would lose, fail, wasn't serious, would not file his financials, would lose in debates to so call world class Harvard debaters, he was a billionaire bozo that would never make it to November 2016, etc.
All the so-called experts, all the pundits, the media clowns, the lawyer politicians in D.C., all of them were wrong, dead wrong. Over and over and over.
Begs the question, is anyone left anywhere who believes anything the "Media claims"?
See, we were told - repeatedly and accurately! - that Trump’s ceiling is just 40-45%!

Trump bump from winning the nomination plus the fact that Bernie supporters are bitter right now. She’ll get a bump once she closes him out. One thing of note though is that the polls are mostly RV & not LV. A likely voter model should help Trump since there should be a natural enthusiasm gap since Democrats have been in power
Now that the polls show a close race, no one in the media is saying it is a blow out as it appeared to be.
