Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump leads Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup, according to a new Fox News poll published on Wednesday.
The poll found that Trump holds a 45%-42% edge over Clinton. A month ago, Clinton held a 48%-41%.
Meanwhile, American Jewish businessman and philanthropist Sheldon Adelson is already at work on behalf of Trump after Adelson publicly endorsed Trump last week.
"I'm asking for your support" for Trump, Adelson wrote in an email on Monday to more than 50 Republican Jewish leaders. Adelson told them he had met with Trump recently and is "specifically convinced he will be a tremendous president when it comes to the safety and security of Israel."

In unrelated news, the FBI’s Comey is setting up a press conference, and Biden is getting some fresh plugs. Ok, I just made that up, but don’t think for a minute Odunga and Jarrett aren’t discussing taking Clinton down if these polls hold up.

You should hear the way the Obama/Hillary media in Miami are spinning this story.
One report said “ Trump supporters will be happy”, while another said Trump had a lead in a poll “among those who chose to participate” in the survey.

You are right on any “switcheroo.” It would fuel even more Dem Trump support/staying at home.
And there can be no magic GWBush DUI revelations because they shot their wad already. This is gonna be fun, especially considering a) Trump’s appointment of the big pro-life guy to his staff, and b) Trump’s wish-list of potential USSC judges.

The HRC camp will turn much of their fear/anger/paranoia against Bernie in an attempt to rationalize her unpopularity.

Donald J. Trump is just getting started!!! He will win this race against HRC in a massive landslide victoryBiden and Warren are going to be hard to beat, especially the way they're going to stage the arrests of HRC and Bill.
Trump is a master planner, I hope he doesn't put all his eggs in the "beat Hillary" basket - 'cause she's about done.

Is this for 100% of the live vote plus 10% of the dead vote? (the latter which will all go for Shrillary) ;-D

There was no “pulling ahead”. The Trump has always been far ahead of the Hag.
To: Jim Noble
If Biden/Warren parachute in at the convention, 13 weeks to election day makes it impossible to pull together a campaign.

I'm not a "believer", but Trump has run his campaign very well since he wrapped things up after Indiana.
I am most amused by the idea that HRC spending $1 billion or $2 billion on the General Election will make a difference against a guy who will get $1 billion in coverage pointing out all the money crooked Hilary is spending. Take John Ellis Bush's spending in New Hampshire, at least $30 million, among a small subset of the electorate, and expand it nationwide, and you get those kinds of numbers ($1 to $2 billion). That was good for 14% or something.
If we 've learned nothing from Michael Huffington, Meg Whitman and Linda McMahon, we have learned that spending money can only do so much, and that diminishing returns set in, and even negative returns for McMahon.
People think they KNOW Hillary Clinton, and they mostly don't like her and can't name a thing she will do other than be female. People think they KNOW Donald Trump, and they expect him to upend a lot of things that need upending, largely negating his personal unpopularity in some circles.
Trump loses the 2% of George Wills, Bill Kristols and high-brows at the Witherspoon Institute. He gains 6% from "Trump Democrats" (our price is that we ought not expect much in the way of entitlement reform, it ain't on the table), especially men who normally vote Union Dem but hate HRC and like the idea of a trade policy that results in a larger industrial base. The minority community doesn't have a personal interest in the outcome, and where they come strongest for HRC (the south east) is where she is least likely to get electoral votes.
Trump just has to do what he can to keep the down-ticket Republicans on the same page in the hymnal to the degree possible so that the down ticket does well enough that he gets the Congress on his side.

I'm wondering if the dems might have put themselves in an impossible situation. The nomination is hillary's, but it will seem rigged to very angry Sanders supporters. It's hard to believe that even most of them will vote for hillary, if they vote at all. If the dem elite maneuver hillary dropping out, what do they do? Sanders supporters wouldn't accept a "plan B" Biden or whomever, and I don't blame them. Run with Bernie, and Trump is going to have FUN with Sanders' group associations during and for a few years after college. Besides that, the nevertrumpistas are going to do what at that point?
Ohmygosh, what a tangled web they weave. Philly is gonna' be one heck of a block party!

Speaking of down-ticket, I just yesterday completed my move to AZ, where Kelli Ward has pulled into a tie with McCain in the GOP primary, and she has endorsed The Donald.
