Trump’s VP Pick Prediction
Scott Adams' Blog Dilbert ^ | Posted May 17th, 2016 | Scott Adams

Posted on 05/17/2016 9:15:26 AM PDT by GilGil

As I said, predicting a VP choice is nearly impossible until the last minute because the situation is fluid. A candidate might need some help in a key state, based on current polling. Or the opponent might open up a new line of attack that needs a defense. A lot can change in a few weeks.

But as of today, and according to the Master Persuader filter, I put the odds at 90% than Trump picks Brown as his running mate.

everybody is entitled to their opinions.

Personally, I know a plethora of sharper guys, just in every day conversation, but to each his own, eh?

>> Webb? Please no. <<

>> Webb actually makes Scott Brown and Donald Trump look conservative. <<

At least there are some rational people on this thread. The thought of lunatic RAT Webb a heartbeat away from the presidency scares me. It's creepy how some FReepers love him but hate Republicans who are well to his right. No wonder George Allen lost with the number of "conservatives" with a man-crush on Webb.

>> Condoleezza Rice <<

Colin Powell in a skirt? Nope.

>> Susana Martinez <<

Now there's a decent pick.

>> Mitt Romney <<

Flip-flopping one-term new england Governor who lost two presidential elections? Hell no.

>> Rob Portman <<

Oh goody, if his daughter announces she's a crack addict, his position that crack is bad will "evolve" to accommodate her.

>> Ben Carson <<

Nice guy, but was WAY out of his league running for President. Nope.

>> Greg Abbott <<

Eh, he'd make a good veep, but it's hard to see what he brings to the ticket. Not like we need him to carry Texas.

>> Jan Brewer <<

I liked her until she folded like a cheap suit towards the end of her term. Also, she's too old to be starting a vice presidency now.

>> Scott Brown <<

See Mitt Romney, replace the word "presidential" with "senatorial"

>> Newt Gingrich <<

Has been.

>> Sarah Palin <<

Well, she's certainly take it if asked.

>> Rick Scott <<

Never understood why Tea Party groups loved this guy, nor why he was so unpopular in Florida. I suppose given most of the other names on the list, Rick Scott looks Reaganeseque in comparison.

Enjoyed reading post and thread.

I think if he goes with a woman:
Sen. Ayotte (not sure she would accept as in tough race)- but helps with NH probably and ME.
Capito WV is a bit moderate for some but very well connected. Helps with PA and OH.

Sen Ernst might be a good pick, but less experienced than first two.

Trump looks like Jesse Helms when you compare him to the piece of garbage liberal scumbag and traitor to Reagan’s legacy Jim Webb.

JACK Webb would be cool. He’s long dead but that’s minor flaw compared to some of these ridiculous choices being bandied about.

Newt is Old but he could steer the Trump Administration through the Political pitfalls for the first Term and then bow out in 2020.

Then they pick a younger Trump Policy Successor V.P. for the Second Term run up to 2024.

Trump is picking someone that can Navigate the Political D.C. Water since he is coming into town as an non connected Outsider.

He isn't picking a V.P. who be spending his time attending Funerals for deceased Heads of State, introducing Left Wing Wacko Performers at the Oscar Ceremony and serving as an Assassination Insurance Policy like Biden is to Obama. (not that I think Biden could be any worse than Obama) Then again, Hillary could just win and it's over anyway.

” He’s long dead but that’s minor flaw compared to some of these ridiculous choices being bandied about.”

True. Since Democrats have no problem with dead people voting, they shouldn’t have a problem with a dead running mate.

Then maybe your genius IQ wife could run for the Pres/VP position. I’m certainly not as qualified since I only have 3 degrees and 1 professional license.

I will gladly vote for a woman for Pres/VP as long as they are pro-family, pro-life, pro-American, and a Christian who is not afraid to speak to the truth of the moral values that helped us to become a great and Godly nation.

Sarah Palin is a beautiful and talented lady, however, she was too naïve when she accepted the VP slot from McCain. He ended up putting a muzzle on her, did not support her, and gave her a saboteur as an assistant.....Nicole Wallace. Nicole was only marginally a Republican, perhaps a RINO or GOPe, but definitely was not there to help Sarah. Only McCain and his surrogates would send Sarah out to be devoured by the elitist snobs in the media.

Beyoncé, Ellen Degenerate, Hillary, Elizabeth Warren, Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi.........not one of these Democrats have a snow ball chance in h-— of becoming President, not now and not 50 years from now.

Mr. Trump will select his VP, I happen to believe that he needs a woman on the ticket. If he were to select Mary Fallin, Jan Brewer, or from a handful of other Republican women it would make me very happy.

I will be voting for Mr. Trump this fall. And yes there are people that he could select for his VP that would make me want to stay home in November. Actually, there are probably many people who would want to stay home if he were to select someone from the Northeast as his VP.

Well Mr. Genius IQ I’m not from Pike County, however, I am a frugal and cautious person.

Oh, you say you weren’t talking about where the term originated, but how it is now used to insult a person.

Well I could use a few negatives and insulting words back at you, however, there is no point to wasting time on name-calling, after all this isn’t kindergarten.

I should also apologize for having created a wrong impression. I was trying to be funny with you. I know only too well how much time, money, and effort goes into getting degrees.

Frankly, I wonder now about all that I spent. I passed up a couple of opportunities that would have made me multiple millions, had I opted not to go for mine.
