Our overriding mission on Free Republic is to preserve, protect and defend (conserve) God, family, country--and all that that entails (refer to the Declaration, Constitution, and our Judeo-Christian American heritage for details).
Our most immediate task we must undertake at this time is keep corrupt, godless, treasonous, America-hating communists like Hillary Clinton out of power.
Our very survival as a free nation depends upon it.
That means FR is going all in to defeat Hillary/Bernie, et al, by supporting our America-first nominee Donald Trump to the hilt.
Very sorry if your favorite candidate did not win the nomination and sorry if you cannot understand or agree with our mission, but those who can't live with our immediate goal need to either keep it to themselves or sit it out (from FR) for the duration. Anti-Trump activities and NeverTrump trolling and recruiting efforts are not appreciated and are unwelcome on FR.
The time for fighting about who may be best on our side for the job is over. It's now time to consolidate and concentrate our firepower against our common enemy.
Our intent is to do whatever it takes to defeat the commies in November and if you do not wish to be part of this effort, please sign off now. You can always let me know by email if you wish to rejoin us.

I am in total agreement with your goals. God, Family, Country made this country great and can do so again. However, personally think we benefit from the enemy chiming in. We sharpen our wits, develop off the top of head comebacks to such tactics.

I can go stay with family a week early (or more) if it helps to get ready.
Last time I worked the table to check people in and collected cash from people who wandered in from the street that night. Some friends of freepers who had no event to attend. Did we make a lot of money on T-Shirts etc? My T shirt man has given dozens of shirts to Walter Reed patients and specially made ,for me, a Trump shirt last fall before it was the big deal... contract or maybe come to the event with “heat” machine? Seeking the truth still in business?
We survive Trump whatever his faults. We do not survive Hillary. It is as simple as that.
I think, at the risk of disappointing people who are anxious for Rush to endorse, he is 1) not willing to subvert the primary process the way Levin and Beck have chosen to do, 2) trying to appear neutral so as not to divide the base, and 3) most importantly, trying to coach Donald along by making him aware of some points he might need to firm-up in his conservative credentials (of which Rush perceives Trump just is not that ideological, more pragmatic -- but that he needs to become more ideologically astute).
You will find Rush firmly behind the Repub nominee, equally all-in as you and I both are. Compare, for instance, Rush's coaching, vs Levin's strident, truculent demands.
