Once again Donald Trump is frazzling the custodians of civil discourse.......
But dismissing JFKs assassination as a trivial subject is one mistake that Donald Trump does not make. His gambit is an old story in American culture. With his intuitive media personality, Trump is drawn, moth-like, to an eternal flame of American culture: the JFK story.........
The issue facing the next presidentand those who will vote for him or her is not Who killed JFK? The issue in 2016 is Who will kill JFK secrecy?
The Law::::::Within a year of taking the oath of office President Trump (or President Clinton) will have to make some decisions about a huge trove ancient U.S. government records related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. The issue will come to a head as October 25, 2017 approaches. That is the date that the 1992 JFK Records Act requires the government to release all of its records related to JFK assassination.................
The Loophole::::But the JFK Records has a loophole and the loophole is what makes the political issue of 2016. The CIA (and other government agencies) have the right, under the JFK Records Act, to postpone release of these records past October 2017 for reasons of national security........
What will President Donald Trump do about the release of JFK records in his first term?
Was their mother a Russian? Was their mother naturalized before they were born?
Did Oswald ever become a Soviet citizen?
I dunno, but I would want to before determining that his children could ever be President.
Great post. Yep, it looks like the Bushes gave the command and Cruz got out. Trump played a trump card and they smelled us all searching for the photos and discussing the Bush dealings around the JFK murder, and it was over for Cruz Jr.
BFLR
Bumping to save as an example of obsurdness.
>>Trump played a trump card and they smelled us all searching for the photos and discussing the Bush dealings around the JFK murder, and it was over for Cruz Jr.
Spot on, Yaelle.
After months of dealing with this Cruz fraud, who would’ve figured the way to get him out FAST would be through old man Bush!
I love your expression: “Trump played a trump card” ~ Truly, I think we “broke the code” on this one : )
If Trump does get elected, he will have far bigger fish to fry than to worry about the JFK records, at least at the outset of his tenure.
I suppose it would be interesting, but considering everything else, it is about as relevant as whether or not George Washington ever did tell a lie......or even chop down a cherry tree.
I could be...
a doctor, a lawyer, a senator’s son, Brad Pitt’s brother, or a ‘man on the run’
Or
The Great-Granddaughter of Maria “Belle” Boyd!
So IF CRUZ or Bush had been elected president they would have a say about which of the records would become public knowledge? If so it puts a new light on why each would run for the office at the urging of their parent.
I was 15 when JFK was assassinated. Many here on FR remember the times as do I. For over 50 years Americans have not been told the full story. Our government has increasingly become more and more paternalistic deciding what citizens should be told/think.
There is far more to this whole story and I find it insulting that some here are making it a joke. Do those of you doing it think that it is ok that the government is free to manipulate information to mold the story they want? Maybe the general populace is so dumbed down they don't care. I do care.
The term data fiction comes to mind. I don't know all the facts but have a right as an American whose President was assassinated to know.
Yes mam, it does. It is a political issue for 2016. The next president can release the JFK documents and one or more of the original presidential candidates may have a personal vested interest in those results. And as demonstrated in the past, the Clintons always cover for the Bushes and vice-versa.
However, don’t forget the catch-the alphabet agencies loophole.
From the article:
“But the JFK Records has a loophole and the loophole is what makes the political issue of 2016. The CIA (and other government agencies) have the right, under the JFK Records Act, to postpone release of these records past October 2017 for reasons of national security.”
Your criticism of fact based posts is overwhelmingly ignorant! Apparently you support opinion based on no facts. How does it benefit Americans to be ignorant of facts? Why do you think it necessary or beneficial for the people to think as the paternalistic government wishes?
Makes me wonder why you hane BenLurkin.
Have not hane.

In one of many documentaries I have viewed on this subject, it was noted that there is a very easy, simple way to determine whether the gov’t was behind any “event”:
Right before it occurs, security is withdrawn in some manner: ex. The recording cameras mysteriously not “on” when Princess Diana was murdered.
In the case of JFK, note that seconds before he is shot, one Secret Service agent is called away by his fellow agents in the car behind the President’s car, from his assigned role. Note that he shrugs his shoulders in bewilderment, but does comply with their request that he leave the President’s car and join them behind it.
IIRC, it may have been Jim Marr that revealed that this particular agent was specifically assigned to protect First Lady Jackie. It is reasoned that because he was not protecting the President, he was not “in the loop” of knowing what was about to happen, and thus, his bewilderment and shoulder shrugging.
AFAIK, no other explanation has been suggested to explain this removal of security seconds before the “event”.
It seems likely Global Elites staged that successful coup and have been firmly entrenched ever since.
GET
A
LIFE!!
And the next president would have a say as to who is the head of the CIA
So how many of the past preaident’s have been rumored or known to have parents involved in the CIA
There is a haunting contradiction between the way that the U.S. government has handled and cloistered the documents regarding JFK and the way the MSM treats the assassination of the 35th President.
If Oswald acted alone, if none of it meant anything except madness and random death, how does national security come into the picture?
Continue to treat the JFK story as unworthy of serious attention and joke at the expense of conspiracy theorists. Be sure and leave a sneering reminder that JFK wasnt much of a president anyway or that he got what he had coming to him.
On the other hand, our government treats the JFK story so serious that it keeps 3,500 files on lock-down which the public must not see for fifty years or indefinitely, all in the name of national security.
You can’t have it both ways.
