I'm a staunch Trump supporter who lives in Indiana, I have a really bad feeling about Tomorrow. I was listening to an AM station out of Fort Wayne, they're firmly in the Ted Cruz camp. They were talking about how Ted and Pence we're criss crossing the state today, seriously, the schedule is insane, the wives are also criss crossing to a different set of towns.
Sadly, a lot of folks in Indiana are none to bright and what I'd call followers, they basically fall for the MSM stuff easily.Clearly Pence is on board with the GOP establishment, why else would he endorse a candidate that is already mathematically eliminated? If Pence says he's okay, then that's enough for a lot of people here. Hell, I'd bet half of the voters don't even know Ted's eliminated already.
Anyway, the buzz here is non stop Cruz. Also, the ads on TV have been hammering Trump all weekend, I have not seen a single ad by Trump against Cruz? The polls for the most part have it very close, and like I said, folks here pretty much do as their told. I do not have a good feeling about tomorrow at all, in fact, I am preparing for bad news. Hoping and praying for a Trump victory of course, but more than worried.
Fret Not.
Trump is drawing crowds, Cruz is drawing flies.
I live in Fishers, and I see a few token Cruz yard signs in the “sign farms” at intersections. I see Trump signs in people’s yards. This is Hamilton County, bastion of conservative Republicans.
Trump will win easily.
Not just 'here'; but EVERYWHERE!
I wasn’t referring to the copperhead snake. Southern Indiana is well southern culturally.
Sounds like WOWO you are listening to. I listen to the Pat Miller show after Rush. They do lean to Cruz a bit more than Trump.
Welcome New B!
I read the article late last night before going to bed that Cruz has left the state of Indiana and gone on to CA.
I can attest to being blasted with Cruz ads in Indiana, but I don’t think that is indicative of voter support. I think it just indicates Trump running a different campaign. I predict a Trump thump of Cruz. Too many disaffected blue collar workers that want to go back to work. That is Trumps wheelhouse of support.
Trump has had tens upon tens of thousands of negative ads hit him. And he has prevailed.
You are right that Pence is an establishment guy. But I don’t think Pence is wildly popular in that state. Would you say Bobby Knight carries more weight than Mike Pence?
As for local yocal radio hosts, they are usually successful with hot button talking points to gen up excitement for call-ins but their analysis is shallow and unsubstantial. Even Limbaugh has been losing a lot of listeners because of his bias for Cruz. The local ones can’t do much better.
People listen to local hosts and nod their heads on issues such as immigration, jobs and so on but that is all in Trump’s platform. The local hosts can only resort to making distinctions with personal attacks on Trump which usually don’t stick. Many people are still getting national media news where Trump shines in interviews and which have recently turned against Cruz.
Keep in mind where you are and what you see may not be the views of others in general in Indiana. Many people are aware that Cruz cannot win and they are not supporting deceitful 2nd and 3rd ballot shenanigans.
I have a feeling, I heard form a cousin of a friend, that there are a few people getting the itching that the OP is a Cruz concern troll. Troll, your boy Cruz is going to get rolled like Cuban cigar come Tuesday.
They believe Cruz is more Christian and conservative....and thats enough....
Now hearing one sentence of him on the radio, with it ending in his preacher whisper, makes me sicker than I already am.
Trump packs stadiums - Cruz packs restaurants
Yup!
Somebody else pointed out that polls in Wisconsin were mixed, at least showing a race that was at least close, if not favoring Cruz. The polling in Indiana has been different, right along. Not to say local talkers don;t have an impact, I’m sure they do. But they have more of a hill to climb in Indiana, than they did in Wisconsin.
Har!
It’s not true. Bill Still is the source and he’s often fooled by hoaxes. Cruz is running around IN with the governor desperately trying to save himself.
Yes there is a bit of that element. But where I live we have more timber rattlers Southern. A bit

I haven’t heard Limbaugh do that. What I’ve listened to has been pretty neutral.
Just do NOT try to get any 'news' from the Indianapolis Star!
He should have just gone home to TX. Its time for Cruz to get back to his real calling which is being an obstructionist in the Senate.
I enjoy political stuff and last fall I would have surely gone to see Cruz if he were local. In fact, Carson came here on his book tour and I wanted to go but couldn’t. Today, if Cruz were appearing across the street, I would actively NOT want to go. His speaking curdles my ears. I have a strong distaste for the phony.
“Sadly a large number of folks in Indiana are none to bright”.
You mean like the Trumpanzies that think Donny the Democrat Donor is a Republican in any way, shape, or form? Right.
How left wing liberal of you.
How did all those illegal aliens get into the country to welcome Donald in California the other day?
It COULDN’T be the open border politicians that Donny gave lots and lots of money to over the years could it?
COULD IT?
I would have though they were there to thank him for helping to facilitate their arrival to our Sainted shores and all the free stuff they get as a benefit of his largess to the open border politicians.
Perhaps there was a language barrier and their message was misinterpreted? They wouldn’t let their friend in the front door though...as though....as though there was a WALL there.
Irony is ironically ironic....isn’t it?
Jedi.
