Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is ahead by 9 points in Indiana ahead of the state's Tuesday primary, according to a poll released Friday.
Trump has 41 percent support among likely GOP primary voters, the American Research Group poll found, followed by Ted Cruz, at 32 percent, and John Kasich, at 21 percent.
Trump is the top choice among the solely self-reported Republicans surveyed, taking 42 percent compared to 34 percent for Cruz and 17 percent for Kasich...

I was speaking specifically about Rush. As I’ve asked elsewhere today, will Donald need the votes of the folks you all are routinely running in the ground when November comes around?
Just +1 baby, just +1.
If Cruz & The Tedlims go past losing Indiana, then Ted is putting his Senate seat squarely on the line. Rick Perry will remove Cruz in the 2018 primary. You heard it here first.
As Ive asked elsewhere today, will Donald need the votes of the folks you all are routinely running in the ground when November comes around?
Why don’t you ask that of Cruz? He’s running around implying Trump & Hillary are “two sides of the same coin”. That is damaging to the GOP prospects in November should Trump be the nom. Not that Cruz or his supporters care about that.
Cruz is right, there is no real difference between Trump in Hillary. One buys influence, the other is bought for influence. They both play their role quite well.
John, I’d suggest you watch this short video before you waste your vote on Cruz. How in God’s name could the so- called smartest Conservative in the room, be so dumb as to choose this woman as his running mate? Truly baffling...
Good news bump
It would be way cheaper and less stressful to crush Cruz immediately in these smaller states, than having to fight tooth and nail over California.
“waiting for somebody more reliable”
They missed WI badly. But Real Clear Politics, Huffington Post and FiveThirtyEight all have it listed. 538 gives it a strong weighting.
“But Rush just told me he was only up by maybe 2 points, but it was basically tied. “
I wonder when Rush, Levine, Beck and NRO are going to throw in the towel and in what manner (assuming some of those fools don’t simply switch to outright support of Crooked Hillary).
Apparently you haven’t gotten the message about supporting our presumptive nominee. If you are going to come on here and bash Trump by comparing him to Hillary, you best opus out now.
Haha.. Says a resident Cruzlim.
Rush has treated the Trump candidacy with white gloves. He does not endorse candidates.
His genius is in seeing the potential in everyone. He would never insult someone’s intelligence by telling them who to vote for.
Same here - I’ll give him another try after the nominee has been selected. It’s hard to listen to him these days. It started for me when he said nothing about the Rubio/Murdoch alliance, including Fox.
Disappointing, as I signed up for 24/7 about 4 months ago.
Actually the absolutely phony "conservatives" have outed themselves and we should be grateful to clearly see the truth about our formerly powerful enemies within. Ted was simply the catalyst.
The truly sad fact is how Cruz has managed to destroy himself by his acts.
Months ago the ideal ticket might have been Trump/cruz. Now, not so much.
We should never forget this season was hatched as a jeb bush nomination scheme. Put in as many “splitters” as needed to divide up the voters to give Jeb a plurality. This would protect the status quo.
Cruz was a desperation move to have cruz be the designated “Mccain”.
If Trump wins in Indiana, he is the nominee. Cruz and Kasich will continue to delusionally believe Trump can be stopped, but even the GOPe will accept Trump as the party’s nominee.
Have said all along on FR I’m voting for the nominee. Hasn’t really resulted in civil treatment.
