On Sunday Ted Cruz and John Kasich joined forces to deny Donald Trump enough delegates to win the Republican nomination.
Both of the contenders are coordinating efforts to stop Donald Trump.
Neither one can do it separately so they're hoping theyll be able to do it together.
That way they can force a contested convention and rip apart the Republican Party.
Tonight former Governor Mike Huckabee weighed in on this new tactic.
Cruz, Kasich join forces to stop Trump. I wish they wanted to stop Hillary and much as they did the Republican who is beating both of them.
Ping.
1st things 1st.
Huckabee is becoming a rational conservative again.
Well, if that doesn't get Huck a seat in the Trump Cabinet, nothing will.
If Romney had campaigned as hard against The Won as he’s campaigning against Trump, he’d be running for reelection today.
Wish he would convince Cruz & Kasich to drop out!
Yes. He’s become so reanimated I can hear Dr. Frankenstein yelling, ‘it’s alive, it’s alive!’.
Maybe he needs a job and knows its not going to be Cruz doing the hiring.
Still a Huckster but clearly not a stupid Huckster.
As an opportunist, he seems to believe that the days of the present GOP-e are numbered, and that conservatism is going to be in vogue once again.
Let’s hope that he’s right.
Romney too!
Amen to what Huckabee said. The fact that they are not, makes things pretty clear.
At this point, particularly after Tuesday’s upcoming vote, the best thing to do for this nation is to clearly bury the war hatchets, set aside emotion, and support the man that is going to be the nominee.
I have supported Cruz throughout...but this is insane. We need to do what is best for the country.
If the GOP (not the GOPe) united behind Trump, I honestly believe we will win by a good margin in November.
Any of these other games are going to lead to a Hillary victory.
I penned this following time ago, and believe it holds true now too:
The Trump Phenomenon

Cruz supporters (like me) simply must set emotion, pride and hurt feelings aside for the good of the nation at this point. It is that simple.
I also recently wrote a letter to Ted Cruz encouraging him to take this path:

Wish the GOPe found their little balls earlier and fought Obama!
Winning tomorrow and in Indiana next week, should break their backs—particularly with Trump’s huge lead in California polls.
Exactly. Step 1, suppress the voter's desires. Step 2, install the choice of the Republican machine. Step 3, pretend to campaign.
I’ve been saying the same thing Mike..... we see who’s side they’re on now... Trump has shined the light on the whole stinking compost pile. to deny it won’t make it any less true.
The TRUE GOAL is to Keep the Party Going, Keep the Club Intact, Keep the Banksters and Wall Street happy, they keep us supplied with lots of cash, we remain in power , and to HELL WITH THE PEOPLE OF THE US. They dont contribute to our campaigns in any meaningful way anyway.
Considering the stopping of Trump more important (their only chance, as non existent as it is) than stopping Hillary addresses their fundamental concerns well.
I wish all of them would want HilLIARy (along with Bathhouse Barry) to be indicted, tried, convicted, sentenced, and then publicly hanged for giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Letting these two rot off the noose would be an opportunity for all Americans to celebrate.
