Donald Trump Jr. said that the only way Texas Sen. Ted Cruz can convince delegates to support him over his father is with bribery.
"Ted Cruz has no chance of winning this without bribing the delegates. That's his game at this point," the son of the real estate mogul told CNN's Jake Tapper in a CNN "State of the Union" interview that aired Sunday.
Trump Jr. said if his father wanted to bribe delegates he could -- and do it very well.
"He could send his private plane and send them down to Doral, they could play golf for a week and then we win that delegate. That's not the way this country should be run," Trump Jr. said.

This isn’t really comparable to basketball and playoffs.
Cruz is trying to bring us to a situation that likely will split the party and hand the election Hillary, as well as both house of congress.
I don’t want to go there, and I’m not going to support anyone who wants to bring us there.
Cruz has failed to defeat Trump at the ballot box, now he should do the honorable thing, but he won’t because he isn’t honorable.
Especially when you purposely prevent them from being reached by staying in when you cant win.
The rules say that he can win. That is just a simple statement of fact.
Then you can elect him.
Ted Cruz has turned into a turd. A particularly nasty one at that.
The sports analogies don't really work, because each game is wildly entertaining in and of itself. I get almost as worked up over each singular Green Bay Packers' game as one in the playoffs. Watching people go behind the curtain and vote is like paint drying.
The nomination is everything in this case.
I have heard that Trump has offered his delegates a goldmine of a goody bag

He’s actually only unlikable and creepy to people who keep repeating he’s unlikable and creepy. I find him perfectly acceptable, and he would no doubt make a good president. You’re so emotionally attached to your own candidate you can’t even get close to reality anymore.
This whole made up stuff about bribing delegates is garbage. Donald knows it too. You think delegates would change their vote for $100, or $10,000? Most of the delegates a rich too begin with. But you knew that.
Of course he’s bribing delegates. Get real!

“...Trump stating he contributes to both parties...”
Trump was a business man at the time not a politician. Huge difference!!! That is the point of his candidacy - to expose the shady system because he was sick of seeing it occur.
The elected officials who accepted the money were far more culpable than Trump.
Trump is running because he did not like the thinly disguised bribery that was required by the politicians in power to get anything done at all. Otherwise, nothing went forward, because of the politicians running the show. Trump wants true reform; he didn’t like the system, is exposing it through his candidacy and by refusing to join in the underhanded crap.
He did nothing illegal, donations are perfectly legal.
Not legal: professional career politicians bribing
delegates.
Try to wake up to what Trump is trying to do and the courage it will take to accomplish it.
Thanks for not disappointing with your typically nasty insult.
You told me there was some video out there of Cruz handing a delegate $100 bribe to vote for him. I asked you for a link, but you're refusing to provide it. Instead, you tell me to look for it myself on YouTube.
But that's a useless, disingenuous response. Because there is no way for me to know to which particular video you are referring. I could say i looked at it, wasn't convinced, and you'd just say i must have been looking at the wrong one. If you have some a specific video of Cruz accepting a bribe, why not post it when asked?
Better yet, why not start a thread entitled "Video of Cruz bribing delegate!", so that you can draw to it the attention such a video deserves? That way, everyone can see it, and there is no ambiguity regarding whether or not it is the correct video? Or heck, I'll do the post and mention you. All I asking is for you to link the video to which you are referring.
But no - you don't do any of that. You just claim that such a video exists, but refuse to link it when asked. There's a word for people who allege facts but then refuse to support them when challenged.
That's you.
The delegates currently do not represent the voters. In most states, the delegates represent only themselves, and the party bosses who appointed them.
My preference would be for the candidates to appoint the delegates which they have "won". On the first few ballots, the delegate is bound to vote as the candidate requests, either for the candidate, or to whoever a candidate decides to align with. After some number of ballots, but at least the first 10, the delegates would be freed.
I will vote for the gop nominee. How ‘bout you?
You are right, of course. Talk, talk, talk. Where is the EVIDENCE?
Where is the evidence of that accusation? Where is the proof?
