A Donald Trump-Sen. Ted Cruz unity ticket seems less likely now that Cruz told the Good Morning America audience on Monday that he has zero interest, whatsoever in being Trumps pick for vice-president.
Bonnie Pointer, who was described as an undecided voter from Vacaville, California, asked Cruz via video, Would you accept being Donald Trumps Vice President?
Cruz thanked Bonnie for her question saying, Let me just answer very simply, I have zero interest, whatsoever, in doing it.

Lol, well bye Ted. You suck anyway and Trump would be stupid to pick you as the lying veep. You’re a sinking ship.
That means no:
TRUMP/LYIN’ TED 2016 bumper stickers or yard signs?
Hey Ted sCruz we have no desire to even have you in public office, get a real job.
If he gets the nomination and wins I can’t see Trump serving a full term. I think he will soon become disenchanted and resign when finds out the job is like living an not so gilded cage in his case. Can’t see him liking the SS controlling his movements and having to put his business interests in a blind trust
So who ever he picks as VP is very likely to need to step in and I can’t see him handing the job to Cruz or any Conservative for that matter.
Ryan/Cruz 2016!
Romney/Cruz 2016!
Bush/Cruz 2016!
All are acceptable to this “consistent conservative”.
Trumps’ VP will be someone that can work with congress, Kasick? Maybe, but I doubt it since Kasick disagrees with Trump on just about every issue of importance. Newt? Ryan? Sessions? Rudi? Christy? I think Trump will surprise us.
When Cruz comes in third tonight and the. Places third in several contests next Tuesday what excuse will his backers who think he has any shot at the nomination offer?
All the parliamentary maneuvering in the world is not going to get Cruz the nomination.
Trump and his supporters have been juvenile.
Trump has never lost a single primary.
Every single primary and every single delegate has been “stolen” from him.
His team reminds me of the Gore team in 2000.
From the first primary in Iowa, Trump has behaved as a child— refusing to debate before the Iowa primary and calling anyone who won’t yield to him a liar.
I back Donald Trump. However, I cannot see this answer as being anything other than what Cruz should have said. The very moment that he says that he would consider it or would be happy to take it, is the moment that his campaign is over. At this point, he simply cannot do that. Let’s see what he says in two weeks.
That said, I don’t believe that there will be a Troump-Cruz ticket. There is simply too much water under the bridge. While Cruz would certainly help in solidifying the party base, he does not bring any states with him. The Republicans will win Texas in every scenario that is realistic. Ditto for most of the South. There is the other issue regarding Cruz’0 birth: Regardless of the actual legalities, Trump has made enough of a big deal about it that he would look like a complete hypocrite if he picked Cruz for vice president. Additionally comma trumpkin pic a genuine conservative who is well liked and who has more experience than Cruise. Jeff Sessions, for example. Thus, I don’t believe that it will happen.
Got a link or something?
That would make much more sense for DT, a kindred spirit.
He's an establishment guy and he's not conservative. That fits the bill.
And when it happens the trumpezoids will explain to us why it's a brilliant pick. If Trump picked a yellow yo-yo as a running mate, the trumpezoids would explain to us why it's a brilliant pick.
Yeah, as if Donald Trump would even consider making Cruz his Veep after calling him Lyin’ Ted for weeks.
As likely as making Little Marco his Veep.
Yes, no way would Cruz answer affirmatively. But he could have said something like, “I haven’t given that hypothetical any thought. I am totally focused on my campaign. We’re doing great and looking forward to the GOP convention in Cleveland.”
Didn’t have to say yes or no, just deflect and say he’s focused on the task at hand which is winning the nomination.
“The hard core Cruz supporters may disagree” well you got that part right. Just remove the descriptive adjectives and you get a true statement.
Putting Ryan on the ticket would be like inviting the juvenile delinquent of the neighborhood into your gun room.
Yeah, the game is still very much afoot, you’re not going to get anything that sounds like a concession at this point.
“His dirty little secret? His mother gave up her American citizenship in England.”
You have proof?
I have zero interest in a natural born Canadian being the Vice President.
Good. I don’t want Cruz anywhere near Trump or the White House. The slimy snake needs to be under a rock.
