I back Donald Trump. However, I cannot see this answer as being anything other than what Cruz should have said. The very moment that he says that he would consider it or would be happy to take it, is the moment that his campaign is over. At this point, he simply cannot do that. Let’s see what he says in two weeks.

That said, I don’t believe that there will be a Troump-Cruz ticket. There is simply too much water under the bridge. While Cruz would certainly help in solidifying the party base, he does not bring any states with him. The Republicans will win Texas in every scenario that is realistic. Ditto for most of the South. There is the other issue regarding Cruz’0 birth: Regardless of the actual legalities, Trump has made enough of a big deal about it that he would look like a complete hypocrite if he picked Cruz for vice president. Additionally comma trumpkin pic a genuine conservative who is well liked and who has more experience than Cruise. Jeff Sessions, for example. Thus, I don’t believe that it will happen.

Yes, no way would Cruz answer affirmatively. But he could have said something like, “I haven’t given that hypothetical any thought. I am totally focused on my campaign. We’re doing great and looking forward to the GOP convention in Cleveland.”

Didn’t have to say yes or no, just deflect and say he’s focused on the task at hand which is winning the nomination.

“...I don’t believe that there will be a Trump-Cruz ticket. There is simply too much water under the bridge.”

Also, Cruz brings nothing but trouble, drooling cultists, and NWO slime into the ticket. Oily Felito trails a nasty slick, and is purely a detriment. Far worse than Bush 1 on the Reagan ticket. FAR worse, and THAT was a disaster.
