Republican presidential candidate John Kasich said on Saturday that he would not have signed the controversial North Carolina law that requires transgender people to use bathrooms that correlate with their gender at birth.

This entire controversy was a set-up to give bad press to a Republican state legislature.
A very liberal mayor and city council in Charlotte passed an ordinance that would allow men to choose which bathroom, shower or locker room they wanted based on how they felt.
They had been warned that the state would pass legislation to not allow it. The mayor pushed the bill through anyway knowing that it would cause bad publicity for the Republicans.
BTW the person in Charlotte who was behind the bill to allow men to go into showers, the locker room or the bathrooms is a Democrat CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER.

If Kasich wants to enable the dirty old man, maybe he are one.

People don’t understand - transgendered men have been using ladies rooms for years. If you pay attention to your surroundings you’ll see them. They have big feet, frequently wear high heels, wigs and heavy makeup.
The guys who want to dress up like that are not the problem. It’s the perverts and the voyeurs. They’ll be able to legally cruise the ladies rooms for victims and claim they ‘feel’ like a female. They’ll be able to go into the locker rooms and showers legally. It’s insane legislation.
This is why Kasich is unworthy of a North Carolinian’s vote.
Telling everyone openly that he is NOT for upholding the voters wishes and the "will of the people."
He doesn’t have to tell HIS daughters anything. They travel in the world of the elite in their gated communities, private schools, private clubs, housekeepers to go to the grocery stores, eating and going to all the finer places that are expensive enough to keep out the riff raff. It’s not going to be HIS daughters in a McDonald’s or mall bathroom confronted with an adult male pervert in ladies room. He and the rest of them couldn’t give a rip what it’s like in the real world living the the crap they create.

I don’t get out enough-all of this feels like it’s happening in some “ big city far away” when it’s undoubtedly been going on where I live for years. You’re right about what the real problem is, the ones who don’t stand out. Ted Bundy didn’t look like the poster boy for serial killers.

It appears giving access to women’s restrooms to transgender men, as advocated by the Kasick and the democrats, trumps women’s right to privacy. I stand with the women and their right to privacy.
