Townhall reporter Guy Benson today admitted the Cruz campaign is stealing Trump delegates in states that Trump won.
The Ted Cruz campaign is running Cruz supporters as Trump delegates in states that Trump won. That way they can steal the nomination from Trump in Cleveland although they’ve only won a fraction of the states Trump has won.
Guy Benson: This has been percolating for several months. He has a very sharp legal team that know the rules inside and out in a way the Trump campaign clearly does not. It’s not just Louisiana. And it’s not just finagling to just get Rubio delegates or unbound delegates. What they’re also doing is getting people elected as Trump delegates who are not, in fact, Trump loyalists. So they would be bound to Donald Trump on the first ballot only. After which, although they are technically Trump delegates, they’ve been sort of put in place to jump.
And these are the same people who call Trump supporters ‘morons’ one day and beg them to support Ted Cruz the next.
CONFIRMED: Cruz Camp Stealing Trump Delegates at State Level
Even so, deport was stating an if, and a big if it is too.
BTW, it may be a Sanders Presidency if he keeps beating Hillary in the primaries.
No you Cruz supporters are supporting a smart man, but also a wicked man hiding behind the cloak of goodness.
Your being a vet will have been in vain.
he will be the designated loser ala McCain, Romney, Dole.
____
BINGO!
I'm pretty sure that was a topic of conversation with the RNC yesterday.
Tricky Dick!
Of course he didn’t sign an unknown petition. Without vetting your organization for longer than sitting for a minute in a car in front of your table, it’s political suicide for a candidate to sign some random petition.
Signing a petition not only endorses the premise, but the organizers as well.
This is how you get headlines like, “Candidate supports group with white supremacist ties.”
But take it personal that Cruz didn’t risk his political career to give you 30 seconds of face time.
I don’t disagree with you. This is how it works. I don’t agree that this is how it SHOULD work.
Most voters still believe the candidate with the most votes should win. Many have learned how the Electoral College works in the general election and are okay with that.
The way the primaries and conventions work is less obvious. The rules that have been set up tell voters you get one shot to ‘get it right’ and if you don’t, the politicians and their friends will ‘get it right’ for you.
I support Trump, but I would not feel good about him getting the nomination at the convention using the convoluted rules set up by the GOP.
You had to know something was up when they screeched about Trump being a liberal even though he’s running on the most conservative platform in the last hundred years.

Prior to the Wisconsin campaign, I was perfectly comfortable with Trump as my first choice, and voting for Cruz if Trump wasn't the nominee.
Now, not so much. I'm getting very uncomfortable with Ted.
Mitt Romney hasnt endorsed Ted Cruz. Fact.
I never said he did. Romney supports Cruz. Birds of a feather...
The Supreme Court is tied at 4 and 4.
*************
Even with 8 current members I don’t believe they have voted on that issue yet.
Granted some 9 or so of the first Presidents weren’t born on in the USA but they
were born in the British colonies which were on the soil to which became the USA.
It would be interesting to see how they would rule.
:) Reply of the day, right there...!
I wonder, too, if a deal was struck for Trump's VP?
If no one has a majority, the only way to get to a nominee is for delegates to switch their allegiance
there would be no logjam after the first ballot, if the simple and obvious process of the candidate with the preponderance of bound delegates were the nominee; the artificial impostion of a bound delegate threshold, and then employing tactics designed to prevent a candidate from reaching it, is counterproductive and idiotic on its face...
after all, this is not the general election, in which the opposition party and the entire voting populace is involved...
I was fighting for the issue I don’t need fame either. Just wanted to point out he is not what he seems. Certainly he could have taken a copy and read it carefully. Congressman Culberson signed it in west Houston. Cruz office called us when we counter demonstrated against the Dreamers who were going to have a go at Ted. We defended him that day. I never held his refusal to sign against him but thought now was worth mentioning it. No need to snipe my heels.
Tell a Trump voter Cruz stole his or her vote there is still one more Vote and Cruz won’t get their vote on the one that elects the President
If Cruz is doing that it sounds a lot like tyranny to me, and Levin practically copulates with him on air all night during his shoe.
I’m getting disgusted. TED is the Washington Cartel evidently.
Oh absolutely. Let’s elect a lawyer/parasite who can’t win outright and instead descends to Clintonian levels.
Unbound delegates do not reflect the will of the voters, only the party hacks who appoint them. Voters do not vote for delegates, they vote for candidates. The delegates should be appointed by the candidate who won them, in all states.
he has never been a part of the establishment , then I take it you do not know he worked for Bush before he got his TX seat.
