Donald Trump insisted Friday he had nothing to do with the recent National Enquirer story in which Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is accused of cheating on his wife multiple times.
Still, Trump took the moment to point out the tabloid publication has been right in the past with similar stories.
“I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week’s issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it,” Trump said in a statement. “Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz.”

If Heidi Cruz ain’t all upset about a ‘possible cheater husband’ then why should we? I hope its not true. Cruz lost it when he hitched his wagon to the Washington Cartel ‘types’. We have bigger targets to go after and have been sidetracked by the deceivers in low places.

Ma’am, I don’t know if all the allegations against the Senator regarding infidelity are true; however, two of the named women have been confirmed by either family members or reporters. As regarding Trump, he has never put himself out there as a paragon of virtue. On the other hand Senator Cruz has i.e. Glenn Beck’s comments about Cruze and the Rapture (Cruz has not disavowed) and the Senators father asserting Cruz as the anointed one. I know I’m leaving a lot out but made the point.....
I’ve seen your posts these past few weeks and I admire your passion for Senator Cruz. I wish we had you on Trumps side, truly. But there are some things coming out about Senator Cruz that should, in light of all the religious pontificating about him, cause one to pull rein. And the article here cements Trumps NON involvement. This issue squarely sits on Senator Cruz’s shoulders. How he is handling the story demonstrates his character in a negative way.
