Trump surged as the Republican Partys frontrunner on his campaign platform of deporting illegal aliens, promoting trade deals that prioritize the interests of American workers, and rejecting the party elites desire for increased military adventurism.
Ted Cruz, by contrast, wrote an op-ed urging Congress to fast track Obamas Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). No fast-tracked trade agreement has ever been defeated.
Sen. Grahams energetic endorsement of Cruz and Cruzs refusal to disavow the endorsement of a man who many believe betrayed the American people with his unyielding push for mass migration will no doubt raise questions as to whether Cruz still supports his 2013 amendments to radically expand immigration.
Graham, as a backer of the 2013 Rubio-Schumer amnesty plan and the 2007 McCain-Kennedy amnesty plan before that, is perhaps the Republican Partys most outspoken proponent of open borders immigration policies.
Perhaps more than anyone, Sen. Graham has attacked GOP voters, lawmakers, and thinkers for opposing mass migration policies.

If I had to hang around with Glenn Beck I'd be all of the above, depending on the time of day.
lol
Well, here’s the deal. Cruz’s sister died from suicide in 2011 or possible suicide. She was a crack user. His father is a recovering alcoholic.
In short, like Trump he lost a family member.
Trump doesn’t drink. I could find nothing about whether Cruz drinks or not.
I would think that if he started drinking, by now he would have signs and symptoms of the disease, not just abuse, but the disease.
I see no record of DUIs or issues involving his law license.
In summary, I think it’s unfair to say the man is an alcoholic. I think he’s at risk were he to choose to drink.
I’m a Trump guy, but in this case would say that your allegation is unfounded.
There us ABSOLUTELY no guarantee Rubio supporters go to Cruz.....
I come from a family which has had a lot of trouble with alcohol. Everyone in my family who drinks has problems. With his own and his family’s history Ted should stay as far away from alcohol as possible.
FiveThirtyEight now shows Trump with 695 delegates. Arizona is winner takes all and will most likely be awarding its 58 delegates to Trump 695 + 58 = 753. There is also the possibility of picking up a few delegates in Samoa and Utah. I am assuming that you using a delegate count source which hasn’t awarded the Missouri delegates to Trump yet.
Because that is how our government works. The elites make deals with each other. And if it is necessary to promise to nominate somebody like that to the Supreme Court in order to get him to help derail Trump, that's what they'll do.
Of course, if Jeb or Kasich or the like gets the Republican nomination, they'll just renege on the promise to Cruz.
And what could Cruz do about it? Nothing. All of the promises and assurances were done in private conversations. It might be different if Cruz had friends in power that would stand up for him to enforce the agreement, but he doesn't.
To: Iowa David: You are a lying scumbag.
Just tell everyone to stop trying to derail Trump if the voters want Trump.
He looks ten years older than he actually is. His nose without makeup shows a mess of broken corpuscles. He has almost no long term friends. He comes from a family where every other member has had severe drinking problems and he still drinks. Anyone who comes from a family with alcoholics knows what that means. You can judge it any way you like but I would guess that you haven’t been around alcoholics much if you can’t see it.

He is a high functioning alcoholic. He is still drinking. He is functioning at a level where most people who are not close to him do not realize he has a problem. There are many others in congress with the same issue.
Who implied otherwise? Are you under the misapprehension that "Cuban" is a "race"?
He has already been found to be eligible, hence all the many frivolous cases being tossed out. So you can keep screeching about it all you want, but it makes no matter.
It matters to American voters. His provenance is out there for all to see. Canadian/Cuban Globalist Cruz is not a NBC.
Just ignore the Gope money, poor performance in the south and key states, Glenn Beck with fasting kids, as well as the Bush people in the organization, and condoning mob violence.
Not just RINO endorsements, here's more of their 'logic'
If Trump wins the nomination then its unpatriotic to support a 3rd party candidate, same as supporting Dems.
But if Trump loses the nomination then he should run third party, then the Republicans deserve Hillary.(what country will they live in?)
Being a Trumpeter means ‘Heads I Win, Tails you lose’
Or ‘Trump doesn't have to play by the rules, he always wins by accusing OTHERS of breaking them while he makes his own’
It is not false equivalency. Both Christie and Graham are non-conservatives, and in my opinion, both are RINOs. In many ways, not much different than Graham. Why should Cruz be expected to disavow a RINO that supports him and Trump not?
This is more of the Trump campaign of rules for thee but not for me. And in my mind, highlights a personality flaw that starts with Trump and permeates down through his staff and followers.
Ted’s being played for a fool by the GOP Establishment....
Perfect example. Obama does nothing that is best for the country, just a strict adherence to a political ideology and the destruction of western civilization.
That has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Christie is supporting Trump and wants him to get the nomination. He is a long time friend of Trump . They have worked together successfully in the past. Christie is not dictating policy to Trump.
Graham hates Cruz. He absolutely despises him and has said so many times. He has said he is only backing Cruz to prevent Trump from getting the nomination and create a brokered convention. Graham does not want Cruz to get the nomination. He sees Cruz as a stooge to use to help stop Trump.
Graham has told La Raza that he will tell any “bigot” in the Republican Party who opposes amnesty to “shut up”. Cruz has supported Graham in this statement. He has shown he is afraid to disavow. That is the price for their support. This is what Cruz is.
Cruz is a stooge who is being used by the pro-amnesty people to stop Trump.
I am amazed that you can't see the obvious.
>> Had Lindsey Graham endorsed Trump, they’d be fine with it <<
Excellent point!
Both Graham and Christie are RINOs. If one is held to the standard of disavowing one’s endorsers, then that standard should apply across the board and to all candidates.
But Trump supporters don’t see it that way. Rules for thee but not for me.
