Time to ponder......Ted Cruz for Trump VP.......Nah......Cruz lies, cheats, & when he opens his mouth and talks, he turns most folks off as he comes across as unfriendly, cold & evil. The company he keeps, Glenn Beck & Carly Fiorina are not crowd pleasers, to say the least. John Kasich, a liberal, who is not all there...across the board, has won but one state, and, has yet to prove he can run with the big boys.
Now....Marco Rubio.....maybe.........young, 44 year old, tough campaigner, Hispanic, comes from Florida, would play very well in Texas, New York & California, etc., attractive, great family, could run for POTUS at 52 years old, and could hold his own at any debate, town hall or campaign stop. Has excellent foriegn affairs backgound, could coordinate with Trump effctively on immigration. Has a great political future. Would match and balance with DJT......maybe. An action worth pondering for the Trump team and Mr. Trump, himself.
A Rubio move by Trump,....now,.....would insure that Trump can shift almost immediately to full time campaigning against Hillary Clinton, and would destroy Ted Cruz politically, overnight. Kasich, not to worry, he dies politically on the vine by his own doing. A thought & plan to ponder?
You crazy? He!! no.
Bad idea.
Trump doesn’t need him on the ticket to win FL.
And Trump wants someone who knows the mess we call a legislative process. Absentee first term senators don’t have that kind of knowledge.
Not one mention of Sarah Palin?
Hell no.
Trump provided jobs for thousands upon thousands of people. I’m pretty confident he can pick his own VP.
No, thank you.
Rubio for VP and Cruz for Associate Justice?
The possibilities are many.
West needs to be head of the military
Palin for Interior.
This campaign is going to be brutal. I wish it could be Christie, but NY-NJ two outspoken white guys probably won't do.
Mia Love’s too young. Give her eight years or so and see if she’s a leader and sticks to Constitutional Conservative priorities. Didn’t she vote for Paul Ryan for Speaker...if so, that’s a bad sign.
Jim Robinson has asked for the anti-Cruz crap to stop.
So yesterday it was Cruz lobbying for VP. Today it’s Marco Rubio being considered for VP. A week or two it looked like Chris Christie for VP. Who’s next?
Trump isn't as conservative as some would like, so I doubt he'll use the same criteria as you do,
I would like Trump to pick Jim Webb. It would appeal to Dems and the center while brushing off the GOPe.
If Trump wins the nomination he needs to pick someone who is both a ‘strategically’ experienced politician and who is a good debater. Two weak debaters on the ticket is bad, imo.
Yup—Hell no. Thought I suspect Marco would jump at the chance.
I’d let Hillary have it if Rubio is on the ballot as VP!!!!
