Breaking: Cruz Negotiating With Trump for VP Spot
A high ranking Cruz campaign official has told Elect Leaders that Sen. Cruz is in negotiations with Mr. Trump to become his Vice Presidential Nominee after Rubio dropped out Tuesday. Sen. Cruz has been the most consistent performer in primaries behind Trump. They are seeing the writing on the wall and want to negotiate from a point of strength which will evaporate over time.
The official stated Mr. Trump is interested in using Sen. Cruzs ground game in the general election, likes his appeal to the conservative base and his stance on immigration. Of the other options for VP none hold as strong of an opinion on immigration outside of Governor Jan Brewer from Arizona who is also being considered.
Senator Cruz in exchange for his support is wanting to be named to the Supreme Court if an opening occurs while Mr. Trump is president. Mr. Trump does not see this as an issue and a small price to pay to bring Sen. Cruz his fundraisers, donors and staff on board
So he stops being Lying Ted?
Hahahahahahaha
You much have just got back from orbiting the Earth with out communication. Trump has been smearing any and all Candidates, about topics such as their looks to their energy to their mental condition.
Fear not, you really didn’t miss it. Hillary and her Cabal will be beating Trump over the head with it for the next 6 months.
Reagan/Bush all over again. I can tell you that I firmly believe Trump will never get over the things Cruz has said about him.

You have that right, and George H.W. Bush went on to have the son of one of Bush’s good friends take five shots at Reagan. Apparently, none of John Hinckley, Jr’s bullets hit Reagan, but the back-up assassin got Reagan from above.
I trust that Donald Trump will be lead by the Holy Spirit to pick the proper man/woman to keep us on YHWH’s Plan.
“Cruz brings nothing to the table”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
True, except enough delegates to ensure Trump will get over 1237. Right now, 1237 is far from a guarantee.
The more I have seen of Cruz, though, the less I like him.
He could bring more Conservatives to the polls, at the risk of driving away voters from the middle.
Suffice it to say that it was not his strength to attack Trump. He came across as weak and whiny.
Cruz to the SCOTUS, Brewer to the VP slot.
Trump will pick a female or minority running mate.
I don’t think so. Pledged delegates are often bound by law, not by the candidate. Of course, if you violate that, who’se going to come after you? A district attorney? No.
No, but you get to go to all the best funerals.
:) Did you come up with that.
From what I read, Veep and then if an opening, SCOTUS.
That isn’t the point. The point is that Donald holds a grudge and he isn’t going to forget.
This is great.
I don't agree. I think that underneath the bluster and bombast, Trump is more than capable of being quite pragmatic and forgiving, if it suits his purposes.
Chris Christie said some pretty unpleasant things about him, and he was forgiven and welcomed to the team almost overnight.
I still won’t vote for trump.
BS. If anything he is using this false rumor to encourage others to endorse him to beat Trump.
“Trump needs someone with the ins and outs of Congress. Someone like Newt.”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I think a better place for Newt would be as Chief of Staff.
You know, that’s probably the biggest sticking point for Donald. He’ll want their lawyers to meet to be sure he’s eligible.
Not sure I’m believing this one. Interesting though.
My premise is based on Blue Collar Reagan D's voting Trump in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
