I was stating my own viewpoint.
Cruz IS a liar.
Trump values loyalty and never forgets people who stab him in the back.
Apparently the RNC is giving extra delegates to states that traditionally vote Republican—from what I heard. That is why so few delegates in Minnesota.
Not only is it photo-shopped, but it’s a pretty big slur against devout Christians in my opinion.
The “snake-handler” smear is usually reserved for those who mock Christ and those that follow Christ, and I’m irritated by it. But there are many on this site who openly mock any devout Christian.
No path for Cruz now.
DT owns the party - he should decline any more “debates” and stick to his message, and start unloading on Hillary non-stop.

Well, she did just say tonight she would not support Trump.
Trump up 4,000 votes with 234,000 to Cruz’s 230,000 with 99% in.
Trump also doesn’t need Cruz at all, he’d be no asset as VP as far as getting any votes in the general. So there would be no upside at all.
Cruz hinted tonight that Carly’s his VP. Talked about how Hillary is sweating Carly out etc.
If Trump doesn’t get to 1237 delegates before Cleveland, I can see the establishment forcing an establishment figure like Kasisch on him as VP as a condition of allowing him to get the nod without a fight or shenanigans. They will threaten to rob the nomination away from him unless he plays ball and allows someone to run with him that will keep a close eye on him and provide the establishment a seat inside the Trump admin braintrust.
Neil Bush did almost as much damage.

Well,he said that, but then he added quite a bit more to that statement which you did not include that blamed Trump, but I am including it for you:

The predictable consequence of that is that it escalates and today is unlikely to be the last such instance,” Cruz said in a sorrowful tone.
“That’s not how our politics should occur,” he added.
As Cruz ended his brief comments to the press, the Senator raised the specter of the riots that plagued the 1968 Democrat convention held in Chicago, riots that ripped the city apart.
“You know, the City of Chicago in 1968 saw some ugly days when politics descended into hatred and incivility and even violence and it is my hope that in 2016 that we can appeal to our better angels and avoid going down that road once again,” Cruz concluded.
The Senator later spoke before the gathered Republicans at the Lincoln Day dinner giving a typical stump speech without mentioning the troubles Trump found in the Windy City.
I also want to mention something about the events this evening in Chicago. This is a sad day. Political discourse should occur in this country without a threat of violence without anger and rage and hatred directed at each other. We need to learn to have disagreements without being disagreeable, to have disagreements while being respecting human beings on the other side.
Earlier today over thirty people were arrested at one rally. And then tonight as violence broke out the rally was canceled altogether. Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that’s facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord.

I agree. Cruz should stay in until end. Waste those donations. Lie about Trump. Speak after every primary he loses like he did tonight. Yes Ted, stay in. Leave no doubt you are a creep.
Politics is tough. This is a pivotal election. Cruz has lost his way at this point. He is not running a good campaign. He has no path to the nomination and is acting as a spoiler to feed his own ego.
If Cruz was as smart as everybody says he is he should have already parlayed himself into a plum role in the Trump campaign as a reward for dropping out. Now he will try to drag this out just to be a contrarian. I have zero sympathy for him.
Then we just have to be sure Trump gets to 1237.
