REPUBLICAN WIMPS ABSOLVE THE RIOTERS
WND ^ | 03/14/2016 | PATRICK J. BUCHANAN

Friday evening’s Donald Trump rally in Chicago was broken up by a foul-mouthed mob that infiltrated the hall and forced the cancellation of the event to prevent violence and bloodshed.

Brownshirt tactics worked. The mob, triumphant, rejoiced.

And the reaction of Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and John Kasich?

All three Republican rivals blamed – Donald Trump.

With his “dangerous style of leadership,” Trump stokes this anger, mewed Rubio, “This is what happens when a leading presidential candidate goes around feeding into a narrative of bitterness and anger and frustration.”

Rubio implies that if Trump doesn’t tone down his remarks to pacify the rabble, he will be responsible for the violence visited upon him.

Kasich echoed Rubio: “Donald Trump has created a toxic environment (that) has allowed his supporters and those who sometimes seek confrontation to come together in violence.”

But were the thousands of Trump supporters who came out to cheer him that night really looking for a fight? Or were they exercising their right of peaceful assembly?

Cruz charged Trump with “creating an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord,” thus offering absolution to the mob.

Friday night cried out for moral clarity. What we got from Trump’s rivals was moral mush that called to mind JFK’s favorite quote from Dante: The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in time of moral crisis maintain their neutrality.

Micro Rubio is over. He will lose today and will be relelgated to the dustbins of history.

Katsup is running for VP. If the Donald is smart he will pick someone else, anyone else.

Teddy the Cruzer is a congenital liar.He has the Glen Beck,I talk like a minister syndrome, as well. He will go back to being a Senator until the people of Texas figure out what a NWO stooge he really is.

Uhhh... lets see Hillary lets four brave Americans die in Benghazi, uses a private server to send thousands of classified and top secret e mails, then lies about it and acts as if we are all crazy.

The Donald is chastized while someone gives an old man the finger and gets his ass kicked and takes flack for a breitbart liar getting a bruise on her wrist.

Somehow I just don't have any sypmathy......

Is there any sanity left in the media?

as the guy was escorted out for speaking up.

You don't get it. Any distrumpter worth his salt would rather be punched than forgettably escorted out.

“Cruz doesn’t want to make waves.”

Like the maturity snob that he is.

I just wish Cruz would have said something like:

We need to learn to have disagreements without being disagreeable. To have disagreements while respecting human beings on the other side. Earlier today over thirty people were arrested at one rally. And then tonight, as violence broke out, the rally was canceled all together. Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands.

Oh wait, he did. Placed 'responsibility' for the 'violence' on the 'protesters'. Then he continued:

But in any campaign responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate who is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discourse.

Seems to me when Obama said '...bring a gun', people on this site wanted to hold him responsible for what he said. When a Cruz supporter/staffer repeated a CNN story, again here on FR, people talked about the 'culture' of his campaign, and wanted to hold Cruz responsible. Now many of these same people are crying foul when their candidate (not a supporter/staffer, the actual candidate) is called out the same way. (I am assuming that 'knock the crap out of' was DT saying something that Cruz thought 'encourages violence' - maybe an unfair assumption? I guess yesterday Rush called it one of DTs endearing traits...)

What is disappointing to me is that how many of these stories about Cruz have been perpetuated here on FR. I agree he has made mistakes in this campaign, but the groundswell of false accusations is hard to deal with.

I miss the way FR used to handle the truth, no matter who else stood firm...even when 'our guy' or 'our gal' said something.

TRUMP has guts! I do NOT admire “leaders” who move aside
& hand their microphone over to the BLM $200 Cornrow
Crowd like a limpwristed wuss (as did Bernie Sanders).
Those fat “Oprah Wannabees” made Bernie look like Ned in
the First Reader. These wussies won’t be able to hold
their own with Putin. - As one who cuts my own dam* hair,
I am NOT impressed by the BLM showoffs who like to prance
around showing off their expensive cornrows that MY tax
dollars had to pay for. They are PAID IN FULL as far as I
am concerned. (My Confederate soldier great-great
grandfather did NOT have even one “slave”. He did his own
work!)

Amen Jim!

We’re about to enter into a battle the likes of which most of us have never seen. This one is for the very survival of our nation. Wimps will need to either come around to reality or get the hell out of the way.

Here’s Bill Ayers with his video gear on Friday. He was filming the protesters outside the venue.

That’s step one—he took video—and with that quality of video gear, he knew what was going to happen.

Step Two is to find the clip that Fox News used.

My recollection is that on Saturday Fox used part of his video, and attributed it to him, someday during the daytime.

The chyron read Bill Ayres Video at the top of the screen.

‘Which state’s public school system indoctrinated Ted Cruz? He sounds like a product of the Michigan system.’

In Canada it is against the law to say anything that offends radical leftists.

What Cruz did was what he always does. He straddles the fence. He wants both sides. There is only one side that evening that was doing the wrong thing, and Cruz gave them fuel by blaming Trump.

What happened in Chicago was by no means Trump’s fault. Nothing he has ever said led to that.

Most people who know the reality of the left were not fooled.

‘Cruz doesn’t want to make waves.’

So true. I joined Twitter in large part to follow Cruz. I was so looking forward to his tweets. After a couple of weeks I had to admit I’d seldom read anything so boring. (And this was back when I was a huge, major, massive Cruz fan.)

Looking back I think you nailed the reason. The tweets were stale vanilla bc Cruz didn’t want to say anything controversial. As a result, he didn’t say anything interesting, either.

Something to think about.

This is worth a read seems Ayers is a huge common core bot and travels all over singing the praises of communism and terrorism. Seems he’s still as violent as he ever was

Kascih and Rubio are GOPe amnesty pimping losers but I would’ve expected more from Cruz

..he should have known that the press and most people would not be able to handle a nuanced response to an emotional situation--sometimes it is better to say nothing...

Rush got “cowardly” when the going got tough. Well, what do you expect from a self described cuddly bear?

You don't get it. Any distrumpter worth his salt would rather be punched than forgettably escorted out.

What don't I get? I know that those who disrupt Trump (or anyone else for that matter) are mostly low-lifes who want to put the candidate in a bad light and they know that violence works - especialy as it will be highlighted by the MSM and the candidates opponents (whether his fault or not). Cruz tried to leverage what low-lifes and a Trump supporter did, but still escorts such folks out - with a wise-ass remark about how he won't tell someone to punch them/say $h!t if he had a mouthful/Boldly speak the TRUTH about Islam hating us/and some other high-minded things.

I get it.

What you don't get is that when Cruz said that trump bears some blame/responsibility for the violence (as folks do their best to smear him), he decided that being a strict Constitutionalist needed to take a back seat to a perceived opportunity - it also gave credence to Obama saying we bear some responsibility for Islam slaughtering innocents because we might post a cartoon or make some other statement which "makes it understandable" (and made Hilary's ploy about the Benghazi "video" and "understandable plot) because if not debunked, it would have actually been the blame for the massacre there.. That's my real point - instead of saying something like, "I may disagree with what you say (ore how you say it), but I will defend to the death your right to say it", but he opted to forgo that "purism".
