"The responsibility for that lies with protesters, who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of a campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord," Cruz said

You are a coward when it comes to defending America. Live with it.
“Why do you - and so, so many others here - have to be that way?”
Because we are offsetting the way YOU are. Don’t like it, get off the thread.
How the heck do you arrive at Cruz denying my humanity?
I believe people are responsible for their own actions and that is exactly what Cruz said. If Cruz had said we’re all just animals and can’t take responsibility for our actions, THEN I would say Cruz was thinking me sub-human.
So what is it that Cruz said, that seems so dehumanizing to you?
He showed de facto solidarity with an organized left wing conspiracy, using mass numbers of agitators, to infringe upon the Peoples' Right to Peaceably assemble, and to disrupt a Presidential campaign rally with violence and interference.
Cruz could have stood for Law & Order, and instead he became an apologist for mayhem and raw political opportunism.
There's no spinning this as anything but a yuuuuuuuge error by Ted Cruz, and the mass defections from the Cruz camp which have resulted, by numerous voters who had previously publicly supported him, are richly deserved.
You have no idea what I have done to defend America. But what does that have to do with what Cruz said or didn’t say?
All I’ve seen you do is use your words to try to destroy those who disagree with you. Why do you have to be so verbally violent? Why can’t you simply discuss the issues?
He treated my mother tonight trying to see Trump the same way the UN treats Israel.
You are blind if you don’t see it.
Cruz does blame the protesters which is not being reported elsewhere It is a despicable attack but I do agree Trump has lowered the discourse with his insults and threats of violence Our country seems locked in a death spiral and the majority want to follow Trump all the way down....
At this point I do not see any answer but to cling to Christ and pray As my King is not of this earth and God is firmly in control my family and I will be OK no matter where this leads Combined with the news today and recently regarding the pope (false prophet) I believe we are facing into the end times God have mercy on us
It’s a huge error to say that each person is responsible for their own actions?
That’s too offensive a concept for “conservatives” and “patriots” like those here on FR, huh?
Because this is war and you are shivering in my trench you coward.
you should really get out more as the Israeli newspapers report his kind of activity all the time
Treated your mother? I don’t understand what you’re saying.
Each person is responsible for their own behavior. That’s what I heard Cruz say. Is that offensive to you and your mother?
“All Ive seen you do is use your words to try to destroy those who disagree with you. Why do you have to be so verbally violent? Why cant you simply discuss the issues?”
Buzz off. Your repetitiveness is driving me, and probably lots of others crazy. You are a Johnny One Note. Sheesh. Can it.
Can you make just one post where you don’t try to destroy the other person by your words? Just one?
No that is not what he said you parsing coward. He blamed Trump who dares to put America first.
No. If I could destroy you I would. You disgust me.
I said, “if”.
If you pick a fight you shouldn’t be surprised if you get one. It’s a sound concept that we were all taught before we even went off to school. I can’t believe the good conservatives here on FR are stoning Ted Cruz for basically reiterating that concept.
Cruz did NOT say that the violence was Trump’s fault. He said those who engaged in violence were responsible for that choice. He said Trump is responsible for the culture of his campaign.
And Ted Cruz and the others just gave them legitimacy.
Man I had not thought of that
He needs a cabinet position
