Cruz, Rubio and Kasich criticize Trump for creating ‘environment’ for Chicago protest
The Washington Post ^ | March 11, 2015 | David Weigel

Posted on 03/11/2016 8:31:56 PM PST by lonestar67

"The responsibility for that lies with protesters, who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of a campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord," Cruz said

“I think this is a legitimate criticism by Cruz. “

Right. Because we know how important it it for GOPe candidates to support the suppression of free speech by far-left anarchists who have been organizing for weeks via social media to create chaos for the leading GOP candidate.

So important that he joins his bud, The Bern, in condemning free speech:

“Ted Cruz said violent protests are “the predictable consequence” of the atmosphere Trump’s campaign has created, while Bernie Sanders had his own strong words for the Republican presidential candidate. “

So it now appears Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders are two peas in a pod. Who woulda thunk it?

And the real beauty of it is that the heroic Trump cancelled to avoid really bad things from happening by the leftist-anarchists who have been organizing this violence for weeks via social media, while the anarchists are crowing that they shut down a free-speech event, which isn’t going to go over too well with many people in this country. Seems to me Trump came out smelling like a rose and the anarchists came out smelling like poop.

This Chicago Atrocity by leftist-anarchists will make Trump President!

I don’t think Rush will condemn Cruz, but neither do I think he’ll come down on Trump. We’ll see Monday.

Cruz mentioned LaRaza, BLM, etc? Did Weigel leave that out? What he had in the quote was a mention of the ‘68 mob - and basically saying he hopes we can keep things from becoming violent like that.

Ted needs to disavow Beck’s violent statements. And Trump needs to disavow his violent statements. It’s not going to stop BLM or any of the other communist-Islamist rent-a-mob types. But we CAN’T let the fate of America hang on emotions boiling over. Maybe it’s too late for the ballot-box. Maybe we need to go straight to the bullet-box. I don’t know.

But what I see all around, on all sides, is sheer emotion, with no willingness to stay true to the facts or to discuss rationally. I had a blessed week away from FR and now I already feel disgusting from what I’ve seen in the past 15 minutes here. I am losing all hope for America, because nobody is willing to think.

I can live with Trump. I can live with Cruz. Doesn’t matter to me which one wins. (To be truthful I don’t think the communist-Islamist in our White House will allow either one to actually be inaugurated; NK or Iran will EMP us first). What I can’t live with is a public that has a mob mentality rather than thinking rationally and with a sound mind. I know we’re desperate because the nation is on its last legs. I don’t know if there’s any way to undo the damage that’s been done, but it feels like I’m in the middle of a bunch of screaming Muslim madmen, who want to kill anybody who disses their chosen “prophet”. What are we becoming?

"Cruz, Rubio and Kasich criticize woman for wearing mini-skirt for encouraging environment for rape"

Great point.   Those three weaselly, mangy mutts are "blaming the victim", and should all be thoroughly ashamed of their disgraceful selves.

I will never vote for any of them for anything in the future.

Not sure, but would not be surprised if this coming Tuesday, Trump blows out those sniveling gutless clowns completely.

It’s just another coordinated attack on Trump by the GOPe and the rest of the DC establishment.

I just can’t believe people here can’t see that Trump is already fighting the good fight against this corrupt evil Washington DC establishment and succeeding. Just look at the fear and lengths they are going to to try to stop him.

Open your eyes!

Ok, you’re on. If he says that Cruz missed an opportunity to be an alpha male and offer Trump full-throated unequivocal support, I win.

What Cruz fanatics and others don’t realize if their candidate was in the lead this thuggish attack would’ve happened at one of their rallies. I was expecting to hear about Cruz, Rubio,& Kaisch denouncing the actions of these rent a thugs, but no they put the blame on Trump.

Glen Beck: Conservative talk show host Glenn Beck is under federal investigation for apparently threatening to repeatedly stab GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.

Obama said during his campaign in 2008 to "get into their face and argue with them."

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said in Philadelphia last night. “Because from what I understand, folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

You are speaking of great ignorance. Don’t you check things out before you spout the smears?

When you say, “when the Candidate stands there and says I’d like to punch that protester in the face.. Is in effect promoting violence,” you obviously failed an important piece of information. The troublemaker was a big man with strong arms. Trump said he had a very loud voice. He could have been a great opera singer. He also had a strong swing. He was swinging those arms and hitting Trump supporters as hard has he could. He was hitting and hitting and knocking out teeth. He was breaking noses and causing black eyes. He was a savage. And, Trump, if he could, would have thrown a few punches to protect others from his savagery.

However some little metro man, Sanders supporter, would want Trump to yell out, “Turn the other cheek! Love your enemy! Don’t worry, I’ll cover your medical costs! Call an ambulance!”

That 78 year old man threw a little tap. Maybe from your point of view it was a “sucker punch” if you haven’t seen that type of activity much. I understand why that Trump supporter wanted to punch that protester’s lights out. This was the 17th time in that rally a troublemaker disrupted Trump’s speech. I understand how it disturbed the supporter if that dude was waving middle fingers at the crowd. We do have a right to an assembly in this country and those troublemakers are make that freedom very difficult. A supporter was willing to fight for that right and teach that yahoo a lesson. By the way, if we are not tough and let them win, we will pay dearly.

Not so fast.

Someone controls those voting machines in Florida.

They steal it from Trump and say the people of Florida have spoken and no longer going to put up with his violence and hate

A coordinated coup of America.

Goodbye Trump, good bye America.

Everything goes back to the same old sh**.

BS, Trump was the only super vocal one on the wall and is the only true threat to take it all, so three losers pile on Trump when Black Lives Matter, and other progressive activists act like thugs.

IMO the way this is going the RNC, Cruz, Rubio and Kasich are breathing their last political gasps.

You know I’m sick of people telling us anger is a bad thing. We’re condemned for being angry while the left’s crowds are venomous.

We are angry. Where would we be if patriots of 1775 hadn’t been angry?

Then there’s righteous anger, like when Jesus overturned the tables of the money changers.

It’s ok to be angry. It’s not ok for a bunch of politically correct loons to keep telling us we can’t get angry because we might rub off on someone else.

What video?

Did Cruz mention LaRaza, moveon.org, BLM, and other radical groups specifically? It wasn’t in the quote that Weigel gave; did he leave stuff out?

Are these three stooge Washington politicians tone deaf as to what's going on in this country, they are the reason for the rise of Donald Trump, and the reason why Obama and his Ainskyites have gotten away with this crap.

They, the commie media, the commie Dem-rats, the Rino Establishment and certain Trump-hating conservative pundits are the reasons why this hatred is crystallizing in the streets against Trump,

If we're going to blame certain words for violence, then all the aforementioned need to also take a bow.
