"The responsibility for that lies with protesters, who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of a campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord," Cruz said

This tonight was tailor made for them to go out and try to destroy Trump. They either succeeded or they just elected him President. All of them... ALL of them are two timing snakes. All the flack Dr Carson received today... he’s not one of them tonight.
How is it legit? Sanders voters turn violent. This is Sander creating this environment. If Trump supporter crash Cruz rally. Is it Cruz or Trump’s fault?
Agreed
No; No; Yes; Yes
It was a very wise decision on Trump’s part. He is not backing down and the protesters are handing the election to Trump. So obvious!
Cruz and Rubio side with illegal Mexicans in Chicago over Americans right to assemble. Any surprise?
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, second in delegates to Trump in the GOP race, said late Friday that the billionaire has created “an environment that encourages this sort of nasty discourse.”
“When the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence, to punch people in the face, the predictable consequence of that is that is escalates,” Cruz said. “Today is unlikely to be the last such incidence.”
Cruz will never get my vote. In fact, ONLY Trump will get it.
So, why did Cruz side with the protestors against Trump?
Stuff it, Cruzbag.
When that BLM protestor was punched in the face by that 78 year old man, that was WRONG and that man should have been arrested, that was not right. You always let the cops handle it, and from the video he was being escorted out, so no reason to hit him
He blamed them for what happened, he blamed trump creating the environment.
It was a cogent statement.
Here, let me put it in a format you can understand:
These protestors are losers I’m telling you, I’ve seen losers, known a bunch of them, I’m a winner and they can’t stand that, they don’t like winners like us, they do bad things, really bad, we need that, really bad, they are wrong, a bunch of them I tell you, wrong, they are responsible.
That trump guy though, yeah what’s that all about? That trump guy, a lot of tough talk, all the time, it’s like, really what is that, the talk, so tough, it makes people angry, such tough talk, hit that guy, stuff like that, what is that?
You’re comparing a thousand violent anarchists to a couple of 98 pound Code Stinkers?
just....wow
Yeah when it is Cruz continuously saying Trumps supporters are ignorant, uninformed, uneducated and disengaged, its Trump that is Dividing us right?
I have continually said I would support Cruz if he was the nominee, but the farther this goes, the more he sure sounds like every other politician running for office, and the less I feel like I could support him. I always said Barry was not ready after one year, so to be consistent, neither is Cruz...
So why are you backing Ted Cruz??
If the protestors were paid Soros/Moveon types. Then the environment comment is nonsense. Soros opened up his wallet, and a riot was born. The 3 amigos were stupid not to see that.
Cruz doesn’t have the guts to hold an open rally in Chicago...He held a $120+ plate fundraiser in the suburbs.
I admire Trump for trying to talk to the people of Chicago...Free tickets, no travel required....Just come hear him....It was such a shame that some who had waited for hours in line were deprived of the opportunity.
This is what happens on College campuses when anyone who has a disagreement with the PC crowd is jeered or prevented from attending.
I am a veteran...I would just love to get close enough to Bill Ayers to feed him that poster of him standing on the American Flag...
