GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz tells The Brody File that the reason Donald Trump is performing well in the GOP race for president is because his voters are uninformed and not engaged in the process. Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice. Where we are beating him is when voters get more engaged and they get more informed. Hunch: Im thinking Trump and his Silent Majority may push back on this just a bit dont you think? Lots to unpack here but for now, heres the clip.
Our interview was done Wednesday afternoon in Miami.

I used to think Cruz was more conservative than Trump, just less electable. I would have been happy with either. Now I see Cruz as being just like JEB, or Rubio, only less liked even by his friends.

"People that demand their Constitutional right to bear arms are derided by some as gun nuts."
And yet Trump supported an assault weapons ban. Why are you supporting someone who wants to take away your guns?

Uninformed is when your “severely conservative” candidate suddenly hires the entire Bush team to work on his campaign including the ex criminal Bush brother Neil and you still think he’s an outsider. LOL!

Thanks, but private message not necessary. We need to let Cruz know he’s stepped on it. I sent the email to ted@tedcruz.org.
As I’ve stated numerous times on FR, Cruz WAS my number one choice and Trump my second because I viewed them both as outsiders willing to take on the leaders of both parties, do what’s best for America and partisan politics be damned. I was obviously wrong.

It’s actually the exact opposite. We have the information AND the vision. Cruz people have neither one.

...something wrong in Denmark Being a skillful lawyer, Cruz is quite good at the smoke and mirrors game. But there many contradictions:
- He's "anti-establishment" but hires Neil Bush for his finance team.
- He's a "close the borders" guy but is funded by the Cheap Labor Express and Golden Sacks.
- He'd "stop illegal immigration", but his wife was on a big Bush committee to push for a North American sovereign nation.
- He strongly advocated for Justice Roberts, but fails to recognize his lack of judgement now that he opposes Roberts.
- He posts a tough guy poster on his website, but says he's a Christian. NOTE: He has recently removed the poster.
- He's a "strict constitutionalist" but thinks being born in China, Syria, or Canada makes him a "natural born" American.
Luckily Republican voters are getting the news from Denmark.

“Lets see the Cruzers massage this one.”
They are equating it with Trump calling Iowa voters stupid. IN essence the Cruzers are saying Ted is only doing what Trump has done.
Which means now there is no room for the Cruzers to criticize Trump for those actions while giving their guy a pass.

Mr. Chen from Chen's New China Restaurant:
You know, those customers who eat at Wang's Noodle Palace don't understand real
Chinese food. Their taste buds are not fully formed. They hardly go out to eat, so they
are ignorant of where the best Chinese food is. They are ignorant people.
Mr. Wang from Wang's Noodle Palace, 10am:
It's so nice to see you all this morning! We open at 11am for lunch, so please enjoy
some tea and spring roll appetizers that my staff will be handing out to this long, long
line of loyal customers!

"The GOPe has paid lip-service to conservative principles and conservative voters,"
So in response you support a candidate, Donald Trump, who has paid lip-service to conservative principles and voters? You showed them.

he also said highly educated, but cruz being the sleazy lawyer never mentioned that part.
Boy and he calls us low information and yet you repeat his talking points without knowing all the facts.

“Given the level of ignorance and self delusion rampant among the Trump supporters, it would be far preferable if they werent so engaged.
That so many non-Democrats ould be attracted to an unrepentant statist buffoon has come as a shock to me, and makes me fear for the future.”
BE AFRAID.
