They are equating it with Trump calling Iowa voters stupid. IN essence the Cruzers are saying Ted is only doing what Trump has done.
Which means now there is no room for the Cruzers to criticize Trump for those actions while giving their guy a pass.
And Trump, as always, was leg-pulling. Or joking for the low-info Cruz voters.
