This little tale is a good example of how far our culture, especially on college campuses, has descended. We are witnessing a modern, Western version of Mao’s “cultural revolution”. The administrators are not mentally ill; they are afraid.

It's more widespread than just the schools. Yesterday was March 6th, the 180th Anniversary of the Fall of the Alamo in 1836, and not a word about that anniversary was mentioned anywhere outside of Texas.
