The old leftist principle- repeat the lie (that Cruz is a liar) and the lie becomes the truth. A very great shame.

They don’t care. As long as the Donald is entertaining them they are happy.

I wouldn’t call voter intimidation and lying about other candidates ‘doing right’. Cruz never said those things were wrong so apparently he was fine with it.

“For Pete's sake, Cruz is a liar.”

Can you name a single example of when Senator Cruz lied?

Glenn Beck Calls Trump Supporters Brown Shirts after Trump Crashes His Caucus Speech by Rebecca Mansour 23 Feb 2016

I don't see any "brown shirts", just red, white and blue.

I see Trump only half-heartedly considering Cruz a liar. To define someone he looks for some kinda chink he thinks has a possibility of sticking.

He jumped on the Iowa/Carson situation because it was handed to him on a silver platter. There were many elements to what happened in Iowa with Carson. He calculated that other candidates would follow his lead because it was in their best interest. Which they did, piling on with all they had.

It wasn’t like Cruz made it out of thin air. Unlike Rubio lying about Chris Crane and ICE and throwing them under the immigration bus. That was a total lie, made up out of thin air by Rubio.

In my 45 I posted a link to a video of Ted lying, repeatedly. Either that or he is lying now when he says he never favored legalization of illegals.

I agree. Do not trust Rubio because of the Gang of Eight and inability to think on his feet- he can only repeat his memorized lines. When he is not distracted he can deliver a forceful speech with his little hand gestures.

I do not trust Trump because he is the ultimate crony capitalist and supported TARP an d the bailouts. I think he is an autocrat, much like our current ruler. Trump brooks no criticism and that will apply to the American people if they hold his feet to the fire.

If he is the candidate the MSM will turn on him for being a wealthy businessman and make the attacks they did on Romney look like love pats.

Gullible is a step up from what they were calling Trump supporters - stupid. Attack the voters and try to shame into into voting for a different guy.

Trump has many shady business dealings. Another FReeper told me about that vineyard deal in Virginia with his son. Sleazy tactics. His loans from the big banks and his support of TARP reveal that he is a crony capitalist.

If he gets the nomination the MSM will turn on a dime and report it all and get us a socialist elected. Hillary leads in a head to head race with Trump even now.

“tRump supporters are the hateful ones. They claim they like the Donald because he “speaks his mind” but refuse to give the same courtesy to anyone else who speaks their mind bout tRump. tRump and his supporters are the ones who have made it impossible for me to vote for him.”

You people had plenty of opportunity to speak your minds. All you could do is come up with ways to insult Trump supporters, lie about his positions, and repeat “Cruz is the only true conservative!” until you’re blue in the face. I’ve NEVER read a rational argument in favor of Cruz from one his supporters - certainly not one that didn’t detour into an infantile fit of name-calling.

Ted Cruz is getting what he deserves. Go vote for Hillary if it makes you happy.

Ted is as close to perfect as you’ll ever get, and we’re missing such a great opportunity.

Doesn’t matter how perfect your candidate is if he can’t win. Right now Cruz is getting 1/10 the flak of what he would get from the Hildabeast/MSM carpeting bombing and he can’t beat Trump. Much better that we find that out now before the general election that Cruz can’t stand the heat in the kitchen.

Aren’t you a piece of work. You accuse tRump supporters for being hateful in one of the most hateful comments on this thread.

Calm down. I forgive you. I won’t call you a Tedaban. : )

Ted Cruz brought all of this on himself. You can't have a slogan like "trusTED", talk about how you'll be the voice for Christian morality in politics, release a book called "A Time for Truth", and then hire a scumbag campaign manager and other staff that create a bunch of unforced errors where you have to apologize to opponents and fire your people for lying.

That's not the media's fault. That's Ted's fault. He wasn't ready for national office, and got into bed with the wrong type of campaign apparatus.

Two points.

First -- Ted Cruz might well have been ready for national OFFICE. He just wasn't ready for a national CAMPAIGN (at this level).

What his campaign did right was pure genius: some of the early ads about "as a mother, I'm glad I have a gun to protect my children. Ted Cruz fought for my right to keep my gun" had me dropping my jaw: the taking for granted of Constitutional rights as something everyone agreeing on, completely flipped the script on the liberal propaganda. And one of his anti-Rubio ads where he juxtaposed very nearly word-for-word live clips of Rubio and Obama on immigration, ending with a freeze-frame of Rubio fading to the blue-and-red tones of the Obama "HOPE" poster...any other campaign, that'd have been a game-ender.

The OTHER thing that happened to Cruz, is that he decided to go after conservatives, dialing the rhetoric up to 11. It was just his misfortune that he entered the same campaign as The Donald, who dialed it up to "over 9,000"...(and went after the press directly and in person, *cough* Megyn apparently sexually frustrated Kelly *cough* )

When did beandog ever say he would vote for Hillary? Glad you had a chance to vent though.

So humor me: what positions is Trump taking that lead you to believe he is a constitutional conservative?
