Ted Cruz's presidential bid is in turmoil after repeated allegations of unsavory campaign tactics by his Republican rivals, leading some key supporters to call for a shake-up in the candidate's message and strategy a week ahead of the crucial Super Tuesday primaries.
Aides and allies of the insurgent senator from Texas acknowledged in interviews this week that the campaign has been damaged by attacks on Cruz's integrity from Donald Trump and Marco Rubio. They have pointed to a series of questionable tactics by the Cruz camp, including calls to voters suggesting that candidate Ben Carson was dropping out and the sharing of an inaccurate video suggesting Rubio had disparaged the Bible.

Cruz is finished, for a whole host of reasons.
If you have any doubt about that, watch his speech from last night, then look in a mirror, and look yourself in the eye and try to say honestly to yourself: I believe the Cruz campaign is still alive.
AMEN to that.
Really? I am all for people supporting their candidates but it’s also cool to step out and look at things analytically.
Underrated character on that show IMO
To call a mistake "dirty" is dirty.
Who said I’m leaving? There are places you can live and not be inundated with homos, thugs, corrupt politicians, and morons. Just stay home, don’t watch tv/internet and send the wife to town as needed.
I can only speak for this Texan. I believe in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, State's Rights, a very weak federal government. I would support Texas Secession in a heartbeat rather than be dragged down by an overreaching federal government and welfare society. If that is what you call xenophobia towards the rest of the country, so be it.
“Really? I am all for people supporting their candidates but itâs also cool to step out and look at things analytically.”
So Carson hasn’t been playing the “pity me” card?
When the general Republican population has been drinking the " Donalds'" koolaid, they become cultish and start chanting " LIAR LIAR LIAR".. just to gain momentum.
NOT TRUE..
Ted Cruz is NOT a liar and was looked up to as a anti establishment leader.
For those of you who are trusting TRUMP , your day of reckoning is about to come....
So Carson hasnât been playing the âpity meâ card?\

You don't think he is genuinely pissed off?
“You don’t think he is genuinely pissed off?”
I think he’s petty and playing the victim and milking it for everything he can.
Trump is not alone in this. The Carson and Rubio campaigns called him a liar too. Maybe when 3 different campaigns call somebody a liar, he really is? The truth is Cruz is a very successful professional politician and professional politicians sometimes lie. It is what they do. The whole Cruz anti-establishment thing is a laughable whopper to me. Cruz is a Princeton and Harvard educated lawyer who clerked for the SCOTUS Chief Justice after law school. The man has been at the highest levels of the GOP since 1999. He has spent 2/3 of his post school life in politics. His Harvard educated wife served in the GW Bush admin, sat on a CFR board and is now an executive at GS. There is nothing more the guy could do to become more ruling elite/establishment. Cruz should be very proud of all his very impressive accomplishments but he is most definitely not anti-establishment.
Ted Cruz has been engaging in dirty trix since Iowa. The chickens are coming home to roost.
I didn’t say anything about who abandoned whom. I was talking about the emotional joy it gives sinners to see one who tries to do right, fail. All men have feet of clay. This includes Marco, Ben, Trump and Ted. Some strive to do better, some make the best of what they are.
Yup. If you hire Jeff Roe you’re agreeing to get down in the dirt.
I took that to mean you were leaving. Still no contact with outside you will miss the decline you predict.
If the wife unit would let me I would have off-grid’ed as much as I could by now. She likes making money still, I have passed that part of my life where I feel the need to achieve more and have someone take it from me.
Sadly, you and I disagree on one key point: I don’t think Cruz tried to do better. I think he has always been a galactic hypocrite.
Ted said he believes in marriage. He’s stayed married to the same woman. That’s at least one area in which he is not a hypocrite. Of course, if you don’t believe in vows, three or four marriages is fine and you’re not a hypocrite. But that’s just one issue. I guess he can be a hypocrite in other areas.
It wasn't hurt by their own actions; oh, no, it was hurt by opponents quite naturally taking the advantage of pointing out their actions. So much for a "principled" conservative. Blame is the liberal way right down the line.
