Donald Trump trounced his rivals in the Nevada caucuses on Tuesday, notching his third consecutive victory and giving the Manhattan mogul even more momentum heading into Super Tuesday next week, when voters in a dozen states will cast their ballots.
Trumpâs decisive win, which the Associated Press announced immediately after polls closed, was propelled by an electorate even more enraged than the ones that had swept him to wins in New Hampshire and South Carolina, and a second-place showing in Iowa.
"We love Nevada. We love Nevada,â Trump declared in his victory speech. "Ah, this is a great place."
For the first time in the 2016 primary season, media entrance polls showed that a majority of voters, 57 percent of Nevada caucus-goers, said they were "angry" with the federal government. Another 36 percent said they were dissatisfied.
And, as significantly, they want to bring in an outsider to fix it. More than three in five caucus-goers said they favor someone from outside the political establishment rather than a candidate with political experience as president.
That was bad news for Marco Rubio, who is now 0 for 4 in the February contests, and Ted Cruz, who won the Iowa caucuses but finished a disappointing third in South Carolina on Saturday.

Oh, the steam roller isn’t my creation. I simply stole it from some unsuspecting Freeper.. LOL
Yeah...it’s weird. Maybe Ol LBJ played around when ladybird was out of town...I never did say anything to anyone until just now. He did something that really touched it off tonight during his speech, dunno what it was exactly...glad someone else saw it too.
No problem.
Used it for years myself. It’s fast and free.
Oh, okay, I take it back. LOL
Have a great night...
No. It was just a weak attempt at humor on my part. :)
“If you listen to the MSM, Hillary is scared of Rubio as an opponent, but she would crush Trump, no problem....Sure. I believe that.”
The way the media and the elites insult our intelligence has become almost laughable. They honestly believe we still buy their worn out tricks and propaganda.
At the first Clinton - Trump Debate, Trump would look over at her and say the first thing he will do as POTUS is have his new AG pursue an Indictment against her for her negligent handling of Government Secrets.
Clinton would spend the next 90 Minutes babbling, coughing and spending time during the Commercial breaks doing something disgusting in the Bathroom.
Great call!
“Hope he steams rolls through Texas and puts Cruz out of his misery.”
Last I heard, Cruz and Trump are running neck and neck here, but Trump does have a slight edge. That will probably grow after tonight’s blow-out win.
He’s got four votes coming from my house.
Oh no that can’t be. Rove told us Trump peaked at 34%
[I couldnât be happier about what that means for the future direction of the country.]
It’s our last chance to change anything. It’s still going to be rough. But I don’t want Bathroom Server Benghazi Hillary or Hippy Van Bernie at the helm of this nation.
maybe he had the digits backwards
I posted an apology to CNN some time back. He graciously accepted it.
He saw something that I could not see, due to my preconceived notions of Trump. I’m just glad I still have a working mind, and can change my viewpoint as new facts and information warrant.
From a Cruz perspective, that was seen as good, as the panel thought Trump would probably close the gap in the coming days... but Cruz probably already had a lot of votes locked in.
But they also mentioned that Ted "returning to sleep in my own bed" was not good. His home state should be in the bag, and he should be flying to other Super Tuesday states, not stopping in Texas.
So, who knows?
Great!
The only poll I saw was the one from UT having Cruz up by 4 points.
With these three wins, I agree with you, Trumps numbers will go up in Texas.
We will not know who takes second place until later this morning. Cruz has been making up ground on Rubio all night and is currently up by about 100 votes. It keeps going back and forth now between Cruz and Rubio.
LBJ was a big government loving liberal with strong ties to the mob. Like trump, only perhaps less arrogant.
Most of the votes out are in Vegas, Reno and Carson City. That should bode well for foam-party, amnesty boy to take second over Cruz.
Trump should gain a few points as the Vegas votes trickle in.
Who cares? Anyone has a right to compete if they want.
Who cares? I would say you have contributed zero to any of his victories. What a creepy cheerleader.
