Breaking— CRUZ CAMPAIGN STAFFER SAYS CAMPAIGN IS DONE —
A Ted Cruz campaign staffer today told CNN the campaign is done. “His Campaign is done.”
“The Cruz campaign has to focus on getting basic campaign techniques right,” said a Republican operative who works for the presidential campaign, who asked not to be identified. “I don’t think Cruz can win the nomination at this point. I think his campaign is done.”
Cruz took a huge blow on Saturday after he could not win a single county in South Carolina, a state with an enormous evangelical vote.

Ha, ha. Philanderer Newt, the evangelical!
.
The Dems knew their candidates were garbage. That is exactly why so many crossed over.
They also had the added motive of supporting Amnesty Man Rubio.
.
Thank you for your insight.
There have been Cruz people on here claiming Trump got 24% Dem votes.
This post says that Cruz has lost.
We will know when Trump believes this when he stops protecting Rubio and goes after him.
Well yeah, the idiot is trying to claim that Cruz lost because South Carolina is too liberal. He obviously has an extra chromosome.
I was wondering when this was going to get posted. It didn’t take long...
It’s funny using ones own words and records are considered an attack.
Never should have hired him. As Cruz was my #1 for a long time, the minute I heard he hired Rick Tyler I began to pull back. I have known about and met Tyler a few times when he was with Newt and he always seemed to orchestrated. Nevermind the fact that he is an establishment minded hack.
That he picks these staffers in the first place and pulls in loony Beck makes me very concerned about who would be part of a Cruz administration.
That description could fit a minimum wage envelope stuffer.
And Saint Rick the Roman Catholic who definitely wasn't even an Evangelical either, but still was the "Evangelical candidate." At least... in Iowa. Which just goes to show how hopeless Cruz's candidacy is. His pandering to Evangelicals can't work outside of Iowa-- just like with President Santorum. Evangelicals in the South don't give a s*** about your sweater vest.
.
Noot is Greetings_Puny_Humans kind of “evangelical.”
They are two pees in a pod.
.
So much for this thread.
A non-person told a left wing news source at CNN........
[And we all know how much CNN wants a Constitutionalists to win the primaries, right? (/s)]
Isn't this the same "source" that reported Carson was out of the running in Iowa.......but wasn't?
Let the nervous breakdown begin,...lol
Who has been number two in the race?
Let me know when you figure that out.
Sounds like you are telling yourself something that you wish were true.
It this theory is correct, probably so. Expect plenty of comments about boots...LOL
“The biggest thing Cruz will learn from this whole thing is who to trust and not trust.”
Even more to the point is that we’ve learned that Cruz doesn’t exercise good discernment in judging people and selecting his staff. We don’t need that in the White House.
From Wikipedia: "The South Carolina Republican Party controls all nine of the nine statewide offices and holds large majorities in the South Carolina Senate and the South Carolina House of Representatives. Republicans also hold both of the state's U.S. Senate seats and six of the state's seven U.S. House of Representatives seats."
Th lone Democrat office holder of any note is James Clyburn who represents some gerrymandered majority black district.
So can we PLEASE dispel with this notion that South Carolina is the Massachusetts of the South?
My son and his wife are life long democrats. This is the first time in their lives that they’ll vote R...and only Trump. Blows my mind!
