If He Wins, Do We Stand With Trump?
RedState ^ | 2/21/2016 | Joe Cunningham

It's the million dollar question as we look to the possibility that Donald Trump is somehow the nominee: Do we as Republicans stand with him? Do we circle the wagons? Do we overlook everything in his past and say "You know what? Better than a Democrat."

The answer, for me at least, is decidedly "No."

Donald Trump is a JFK-style democrat. That doesn’t mean that Trump is a moderate. But it does mean that his bold conservative plans cames with a LOT of praise for liberal-backed programs.

This country has moved so far to the left that a JFK-style democrat passes for a republican.

Yes, I will vote for a JFK-style democrat if my other choices are a communist or a criminal-socialist.

I can’t see Ventura....I mean trump as anyone who could govern. I can’t take the boy Rubio seriously because he is a trader. Ted Cruz or you guys can have the whole thing.

If Trump wins he'll do so with a big majority in the House and Senate

And they'll be young, energized voters that will reject the party that force-fed a hillary nomination. If the puppetmasters do something underhanded and steal the nomination for a wannabee, Republicans will definitely lose the Senate and maybe the House.

The anger over stealing the nomination for Cochran runs that deep. If they destroy those who vote for change, we will destroy them at the ballot box in November.

Trump generates all this negative sentiment towards himself, but notice how it is never his fault it is there. I, too, said never again will I vote for a liberal, even if they talk conservative during the election. Trump is the epitome of that.

If they stay home, Trump will have to win without them. He will.

It looks like the GOP-controlled Congress is alright with funding PP and Obamacare. Speaker Ryan led the way with the passage of the Omnibus bill, which funded the Obama administration thru the remainder of its term and removed the sequestration caps.

Funny but us Ted supporters feel you are sealing Hitlery or Bernie as the next president because of our blind allegiance to Trump the person who does doesn’t have a clue as to what to do. If you were seriously a conservative Cruz would be the only choice here. so Trump people are whats going to bring on Clinton 2. Because if Trump or Hillary are the only two on the list I will write in Ted Cruz.

They are not alone. Ever look at internals? He scores the highest of gop who will never vote for him now that Jeb is out. He has the worst record of anyone to ever run for any office in the US. His divisiveness is stark and unbecoming.
If he is the nominee it will be a record breaking year - the 4-5 million gop who did not vote McCain may double or triple.
Not to mention how the MSM love him now and if he is the nominee will be nonstop negative coverage as with all gop nominees, but he has unlimited baggage.
I will never vote for him. He lies everyday.

I vote no.

This also goes for Rubio. Why Rubio?

1) The mendacity and duplicity that he engaged in to sell the Gang of 8 bill.
2) He’s still for amnesty. Amnesty is political suicide for the GOP and conservatism. If amnesty wins all other issues will be lost.

“This is why Hillary is the next president”

Trump never had any intention of being elected president his intention all along was getting Hillary elected president.

Everyone simply chooses to ignore Trump’s own words from his book Art of the Deal, basically he says you ask for what you don’t want and settle for what you do want.

If Trump is asking to be president then he doesn’t really want to be president he wants someone else to be president.

Trumpsters will convince themselves somehow for the first time ever while making a deal, Trump is telling the truth he really wants to be president and when it doesn’t happen it wasn’t Trump’s intention all along to get Hillary elected it’s all the fault of the stay at home voters.

Yes, would you vote for Hillary??? Sanders???

His support comes from a rejection of political correctness and an embrace of xenophobia.

This is not true.

Trump's basis of support is far more profound.

His base support definitely rejects political correctness, but it is only a superficial part of the rejection of untruth--lies--propaganda, viz. the mendacity that is the fundamental evil of Western Decadence.

In fact, his support is the rejection of Western Decadence and the promise to restore the U.S.A. to ascendancy.

The charge of xenophobia as a basis of his support is absolutely false. It is the rejection of decadence and the dilution of American culture--the culture, by the way, that created the greatest, richest, most powerful, most just nation in history--that forms the basis of Trump's support.

The author of this article would be wise to look deeper into Trump's support. Its basis is far more profound than he understands.

If Trump gets the nod as the republican candidate, people damn well better consider getting behind him because if they don’t, Hitlary will finish what odumbo and his ilk have started but she will be on steroids.
